I've used a pneumatic 90 degree die grinder for 10+ years. It's fine, if often a bit grabby. This tool is far better where space permits. Its size and long design provide excellent leverage, so it's almost never grabby while grinding. And it's faster at material removal with more precision control due to ergonomics & weight/stability. Finally, I'm pleasantly surprised how long I can grind on a single battery charge.I put off buying Milwaukee cordless tools due to price, and settled for lesser brands. This is my second tool on their 18v platform and I'm very happy. The price is justified based on performance. FWIW it really is as good as the hype.

Absolute game changer for my shop. Makes cleaning up small issues or imperfections in my forge work 100x faster and easier. I have struggled a bit to do precise work with this, but I know thats totally my fault not the tools. Its comfortable and feels just as durable as you would expect. Absolutely love this thing, pair it up with some carbide tooling and your set to go and wont need to be spending hours filing tool steel anymore.
