MILTON 14-Piece T-Style Color Fit now offers a customized color-coded system that allows for easy matching of couplers and plugs, among the range of standard Industrial pneumatic air coupler quick connects. Great way to solve that annoying problem of potential cross-contamination between different air lines. By dedicating certain colors to different air lines, this will eliminate the risk of mixing a lubricated line with a dry air line which will prolong your applications and help to quickly finish any project. Each piece is coated with Anodized Blue aluminum and heavy-duty steel sleeves to prevent scratches or dulling of the coupler and plug after use. Compared to Legacy ColorConnex A72457C.

PACKAGE CONTENTS:
6 Male Plugs
4 Female Plugs
2 Male Couplers
2 Female Couplers

PUT COLOR TO USE IN YOUR SHOP:
Easily match couplers to the right plugs using color, (blue to blue)- no more guessing. Use color to distinguish between air lines, such as lubricated vs. non-lubricated, or high pressure vs. low pressure.

SUPERIOR PRODUCT DESIGN:
Durable patent-pending steel sleeve design outlasts the competition by putting steel where you need it most. Milton uses an advanced, proprietary anodizing process.

COMPATIBILITY:
ColorFit T-style couplers and plugs are compatible with traditional Milton T-style couplers and plugs, competitor T-style couplers and plugs, and competitor blue couplers and plugs. All threaded connections are 1/4"" NPT.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Do not exceed 300 PSI. For use with compressed air only.

Bought them to replace the OEM couplers on my compressor and hose, fixing leaking air problem for good. The price is more than reasonable for a 14 piece kit, enough to replace the original plugs and couplers on my tools. The only thing to watch out for is that those work only with other T-style plugs and couplers. Whenever I'll need more air fittings, Milton is my go-to.

I bought the wrong style. My bad... I've been plugging air tools into air lines and quick release chucks for 50 years, and until I bought these, I didn't know that there was more than one 1/4" QR air fitting! As it turns out, everything else I've got is the "M" style, and the ones I bought this time were the "T" style. Be aware, they do NOT interchange! Honestly, I don't know how I've managed to get by this long without hitting this stumbling block before now! I even have other Milton connectors (red ones). I didn't know the difference when I bought those, either...I just got lucky, I guess. In my new shop, everything is blue...tool boxes, tool hangers, etc., so I bought blue to be all matchy-matchy. Don't be all matchy-matchy!!Now, that's all MY fault...so I can't really knock the product for that. My mistake aside, here's what I think of the product itself... The chucks seem to work well, but they feel sort of light-duty in the hand. For a homeowner setting up a compressor and a few tools, using ONLY the blue "T" style parts, I think they'd be fine. The aluminum nipples, however, are just soft aluminum that anodized. Heavy use in an industrial shop will wear them out in relatively short order. I'd consider MY shop to be midway between an industrial shop and a typical homeowner. Given the low cost of this kit, I think they're an OK value, but I also don't think they'd stand the test of time in my shop. Since it was my mistake, and I didn't realize it till I'd opened the package, I kept it rather than return it.

I had been shopping for my last set of air hose and tool fittings for a while and knew Milton had always been good quality American made products. When I saw this set on Amazon for only $12 I jumped on it, 5X. When the fittings arrived the first thing I checked was that they were in deed made in the USA, like all Milton goods. I should have known, if it seems too good to be true, It is. MADE in CHINA. I opened one package, just in case. the thread tolerance on the couplers seemed pretty good with male threads binding in female treads at 3-4 revolutions. 4 of the 6 male plugs would not go 1 thread into the female couplers, the other two would not go two treads. All 4 of the female plugs screwed all the way onto all the male threads and bottomed out before they were tight. If you know anything about tapered pipe thread specs this should tell you all the plugs should have been rejected for out of tolerance threads. I didn't even open the other 4 packages. No idea how well the couplers would have lasted, but the plugs were such soft aluminum, deforming just hand threading them together that they would have been destroyed within hours of regular shop tool use. Sad to see Milton's name on this product.

I saw the name Milton and expected made in USA....This selection is NOT made in the USAThe first and only female connector I have used so far failed this morning. With maybe 100 tool changes the first has failed in only 3 months..Cheap import junk!!!Only 27 more failures to report on.As of 11/28/18 only 26 failures to go.Another female connector. I should mention both fails have been on the same line and location. This is the line I use for die grinders and other small air tools. The line uses very dry air and only at 60 PSI. This connector has been leaking for a month or more. It exploded in my hand. Little balls and a spring went away in a heart beat. Had this been on any of the 150 PSI air lines It could have been dangerous.Lesson learned ... first sign of a leak in the trash it goes.A bigger lesson learned is to not buy Milton products....Shame on who ever makes a living selling shoddy stuff under what was a quality brand name!As of this morning February 14 2019 all 8 female connectors I bought leak to the point a nearly deaf old construction worker (me) is bothered by the noise of the leaks. 3 of them were unused and leaked when installed. I do not know the words to express the disappointment in yet another Old School American Brand that is now completely useless.
