MILTON 3-Piece M-Style Color Fit now offers a customized color-coded system that allows for easy matching of couplers and plugs, among the range of standard Industrial pneumatic air coupler quick connects. Great way to solve that annoying problem of potential cross-contamination between different air lines. By dedicating certain colors to different air lines, this will eliminate the risk of mixing a lubricated line with a dry air line which will prolong your applications and help to quickly finish any project. Each piece is coated with Anodized Red aluminum and heavy-duty steel sleeves to prevent scratches or dulling of the coupler and plug after use. Compared to Legacy ColorConnex A73452D.

As a DIY homeowner--not a professional daily mechanic--I typically buy quality tools, but there are times when "cheap" (i.e. Chinese) stuff is suitable for the job. After recently buying some new air hoses for my shop it was necessary to get some new coupler fittings to go with them. Having dealt with leaky air hose fittings in the past, I didn't want the headache of having to deal with that sort of annoyance and decided to see what it would cost to go with high quality fittings at an affordable price. When seeing the name Milton I knew this would be a product that would last, and with Amazon's price it didn't make any sense whatsoever to even consider cheaper alternatives (i.e. Har**r Fre***t junk). Furthermore, the red anodized coating gave it a very pleasing aesthetic appearance, making it easy to tell at a glance which type (and brand) of coupler it is. Installation of the coupler fittings using some Teflon tape to prevent thread galling and air leakage was a simple matter, and for best results this extra step of the installation should not be overlooked.Since then I have used this hose with these fittings with my air tools on several occasions, and everything connects securely without any air leaks whatsoever. I am very satisfied with this product and am glad that I had the foresight to but some extras for other hoses and tools. Looking forward to getting even more of them.
