A veces, cuando buscaba algún accesorio similar, resultaba que las medidas de las perforaciones de la base de mi router no encajaban. Con las imágenes de la publicación vi que aparecía un router compacto igual al mío. Le quedó perfecto.Los pernos para hacer ranuras, el cono de centrado, la base y las agarraderas tienen muy buena calidad. A pesar de que el cono es completamente de plástico funciona bastante bien.Queda tan firmemente sujeto a la máquina que ofrece una buena sensación de seguridad cuando se utiliza.

I thought it was time to replace my $20 Drill Master trim router from HB, because the plastic base was worn down and the screws were protruding and scratching the surface of the stock being worked.I figured I'd give this a try, just until I decided on a better router to pick up... but now I no longer see any need to upgrade to a new router.The wide base and handles add a lot of stability.Keeping the center-finding pieces connected to the base is a joke though, they vibrate right off every time. Fine by me, I don't use them anyway.I have been pleased with all of the Milescraft products I have purchased so far... always a great value for the money.

I'm not one to write reviews but I wanted the right one on this to try to help people out. I don't understand why there would be any negative reviews. I installed this on a Ridgid Palm router. It is awesome. I could have made one. I am handy enough to make my own. But for 20 bucks why bother? I don't see how it can't fit on any Palm router because two of the four mounting spots are adjustable and they move to whatever position you want them to be. The other reviews are correct. You will need washers because the screws barely grab The sides. The opening for the router bit is quite small. It comes with a centering tool but was useless to me because I wanted to make the hole bigger what I did and maybe it's not safe but it worked is I got the biggest round over a bit that I had installed it into the router and slowly adjusted the router down until it pushed completely through. I did it very slowly because I didn't want to break it. It it is even better now that I could put bigger bits in it

Base doesn't fit square base Bosch Colt (see photos). You can't center the router collet with the base and get all 4 mounting screws installed. The photo with all 4 screws installed shows the bit almost making contact with one side of the opening. You can center it if you only install 3 of the 4 mounting screws. Picture has 3rd screw setting on base over the roter mounting hole which is completely obscured. The base does flex with just 3 screws installed. I don't think this is safe and also would expect it to effect cut quality. I should have returned it but I missed the return window. They show it on a square base Bosch Colt in the product photographs. I think this is misleading and I fell for it. I DO NOT recommend this product for the Bosch Colt square base routers because it can not be centered on the collet with all 4 mounting screws installed.

Ordered the item just before 8:30 PM on Wednesday and received it just before 1:00 PM the following day. That was great! I understand that the router base is universal and intended to fit a variety of routers but clearly it wasn't designed with the Ridgid trim router in mind.You must use the mounting screws that came with your router. In the case of the Ridgid, the heads of the screws were barely larger than the slots in the base plate. Not a big deal, adding washers (not included) solved that. The Ridgid design requires the router to be mounted at a angle with respect to the grips as shown in the attached photo. I'll learn to adapt to that. I wanted a wider base than the two small ones that came with the router for use in guitar building. This looked like it would fill the bill and the price seems reasonable.

I got this to use with my Ryobi trim router (PCL424). This base is a great fit. The only issue I found was that the screws for the Ryobi base plate have pretty small heads (a Ryobi thing not a Milescraft thing). The slots on this base are relatively wide. It did mount up. But, I was concerned that it was not well supported. My fix was to add a small washer to each screw. With that small modification it's a great fit for the Ryobi.The handles make controlling the router a breeze, something the stock base lacks.This base accepts standard "Porter Cable" style guide bushings allowing the use of cutting templates or inset kits. That's something else The standard base doesn't do and something some competing bases also don't support (even at higher cost).The kit includes 2 centering pins that can be screwed into the base and allow for easy centering of the cutter in the workpiece.There is also a centering tool included to make sure the base is centered on the router. It's easy to use and results in your base being centered easily every time.The price at $20 is a good deal.

There's plenty to like about this, it's comfortable to use, easy to adjust comfort glides on work surface well..... but..... being 2 piece dust gets up in between the 2 pieces of plastic and needs cleaned out often to keep visibility, screw on left handle kept getting loose abs wouldn't get tight, I ended up ca gluing the handle to the base.i put this through heavy use every day so for me I would not buy this again, for the average person that may use this product rarely or often its a great purchase.
