I purchased this product a few years ago and had issues with the quality. Took a chance again and had no problems with the quality of the wood. I guess Fox improved on its QC.

This rocker was a gift for our grandson's first birthday. After reading some of the reviews I was concerned I had made a mistake. The rocker arrived on schedule. After opening and checking the pieces and instructions I realized that you definitely need help with assembly to do a good job. We added glue to some of the joints and my husband used a drill to put the screws in. We were very satisfied with the results and proud to give it to our grandson. Some knowledge of assembly helps with customer satisfaction. The rocker is very sturdy and we were pleased with the pricing.

The rocker is super cute, but had small damage to front lower bar/spindle. Maybe from personalization? Too late to return and get by Christmas, so filled with wood putty. Hopefully that works for the long term.
