Like I said.. Razor sharp right out the box. First chisel I've ever purchased that I've been able to use right out of the packaging. No sharpening, no honing, just tear it open and start carving. Buy this if you need to carve something.

Out of the package this carving chisel was extremely sharp. The rounded edges were exactly what I was looking for. Small size was very comfortable in my hand.
