This stand for our gate opener seems sturdy and works for us. The only problem is that I wish the portion after the curve were longer. You have to pull your car extremely close to it to reach the keypad.

Shame on me for not reading the negative reviews. The post looks good and is a simple install. I assembled as instructed. BUT the post is so wiggle wobbly that one instantly fears for the structural integrity and has the urge to grab the pad with both hands. The culprit is the method for joining the tube segments. There is a one star review that describes a correction for the wiggle wobble. I plan to disassemble my post to correct the problem on 3 of the 4 set screws. The 4th set screw is below the surface of the concrete. I intend to squirt expanding foam into the concrete encased bottom tube hoping to stabilize the lowest portion of the connector assembly. The post does function, but if the wiggle wobbles will bother you, either plan to modify & assemble or simply don’t buy.

Nice , solid and stable.I am using it on Ghost Control keypad so I had to drill the holes in the correct location. I suspected I would have to do that so no problem. Five minutes at the drill press and both poles were modified.Thank You.

The mounting post is a nice looking and functional product. Easy to dig into the ground with a spade, and we cemented in to make it sturdy. Only issue is that because it comes in pieces (easier to ship), the middle connector is wobbly so it still wobbles a bit despite a solid base. Make sure that you measure it to the height you want while sitting in a vehicle... it's easy to install it too low, and if you have to get out of the car that defeats the purpose.

Works perfect, it's not rocket science, fasten the pole sections to the couplers tighten the screws dig a hole set pole pour in the concrete. My 12 yo installed ours. I cant figure out how people say its loose and wobbly.. guess they are just dumb🤷♂️

We had no problems installing two of these poles. We even had to modify the mounting holes as we bought them for Ghost controls keypads. They look great. We didn't even get them deep enough due to our horrible bedrock. They are very sturdy and we'd totally buy them again. Not sure what is going on with people - tighten the sections up! And, cement is your friend!

Was very put off by the price, but this thing is super heavy duty and couldn’t be easier to install!

Post is easy to put together and works perfect for holding the key pad. To those that say it wobbles, I can see that if you don't tighten the set screws enough. I tightened mine as tight as I could get it with my hand and allen wrench. Then I put a box end wrench over the allen wrench and gave it another turn or so to tighten using the leverage of the box end wrench. No wobble and all is good. Don't be scared by those with a wobbly post, they just didn't tighten it enough.
