Mighty Bright’s LED Orchestra Light is the brightest in the business. The sleek, black music stand light blends in, is tasteful and understated, and comes with a convenient travel case and AC adapter. Use the light with the AC adapter to enable centralized switching capabilities - perfect for large concerts. The long head features a row of nine brilliant LEDs and a sliding power button that offers two light level options. Set at the higher level to brighten up to four pages of sheet music. A discrete back fin directs light away from the audience and back to the sheet music. This stylish light is seriously sturdy, from clip to bulbs. The extra broad clip is a Mighty Bright exclusive design, with a powerful grip set on a broad base. The gooseneck is robust but allows users to make precise adjustments easily, even during a performance. Its energy-efficient LEDs are not only sturdy enough to withstand the rigors of tear down and travel, but they also heighten the contrast of the notes and words on sheet music. Lighting system? Check. Let the magic begin.

My Mighty Bright Orchestra stand light has given me years of use already. It has two levels of brightness, and the flexible neck allows for best angle for viewing your music. The head is wide enough to illuminate two pages of music. The light comes with an adaptor for recharging the batteries or for playing plugged in for long gigs. The stand clip is very sturdy. The head with lights pivots to a flat position so you can slip this into a case with your music folder. The head has a little visor to protect your light from shining in the conductor's eyes when you adjust the angle properly. I recommend this workhorse of a stand light to any musician.

Love mighty bright . So much brighter than cheaper knock offs I’ve tried. Very happy with these.

Great product, I teach music and on dull dark winter days it really helps to see the music on the stand, and cheers me up a bit too! Make sure you get the power adapter with it, however, as I gather sometimes it is missing from the packaging. It is quite heavy so suits the heavy duty metal music stands best I think, as a flimsy stand may not be able to take the weight nor would it clip on very well.

At home I have been using an old brass piano light to light my music. It worked quite well but I needed a large plant stand to hold it. There was a challenge having enough lighting when performing sometimes so I purchased a metal clip on LED light that was very bright. but was difficult to aim at my music without also blinding the audience that was closest to me. I could not clip it to my plastic music holder on my keyboard without damaging it.The Mighty Bright 53510 Orchestra light has solved all my lighting problems. I use it at home and while performing. It lights up both pages and could light up more if needed. I thought it was a little pricey but after using it now for two different kinds of performances and also at home for practice it was well worth the price. It comes with a carry case so is easy to transport and the long cord on the power supply makes it simple to plug into my surge protector along with everything else. If I ever need to it will also work with the three supplied batteries. This was a great buy.

My use for this product is a bit different than most folks. I will be using it to take notes in a dark lecture hall. My requirements were a light that would be bright enough to take and read notes without bothering others, adequately illuminate two pages without having to readjust, clip to a binder, accept rechargeable batteries, and last more than 3 hours. A little research showed that Mighty Bright had a fairly good reputation, and that I might need more than the 28 lumens of the Orchestra's smaller relatives because of my aging eyes. The only thing that put me off the Orchestra was the $60 street price. Luckily I found it for $41. Amazing how prices change from minute to minute on Amazon. The overall design is good. The lens and reflector design, and the orientation of the LEDs, provide fairly even illumination although there is some fall off to the left and right. The goose neck is tight and accurately positions the head. The clamp is strong and works with a binder. The AA cells ensure that I will get much more than 3 hours between charges. The light is considerably brighter than I need with the supplied 1.5V carbon zinc cells on either setting. Even with the 1.2V NiMH rechargeable cells, the light is still brighter than I need. I replaced one of the AA cells with a dummy cell and the brightness is perfect for my application on the low setting. So far, it is a keeper. I will try to update the review part way through the coming semester.FWIW the light is stable enough standing on its base that it can be used as a task light on a desk, and the cord of the AC adapter is long enough that it should reach any wall outlet within reasonable range. The one caveat is that like any light with multiple LEDs, it will cast multiple shadows, one for each LED. This can be a problem when doing some kinds of work.

I couldn't wait to submit my review! I had been looking for a really bright, cordless, professional-looking, rechargeable lamp that is lightweight enough to comfortably clip onto the top of my art easel! I've been disgusted with the ones I've tried until tonight! I'm a live event painter, which means I set up an easel at corporate events, wedding receptions, anniversary parties, etc. Tonight I painted at an engagement party. It was an indoor venue. Low-lighting, romantic, swanky atmosphere. As an artist, I knew that would not be conducive to painting. I'm a portrait artist, so the details are important. Last minute, I ordered the Mighty Bright Orchestra Light and requested next day shipping. WORTH IT! And I'm pretty particular about lighting! I felt confident all night. Really. The light flooded my canvas without being a nuisance to guests. It's so compact (not at all clunky and hideous like some other rechargeable options I've seen). It's sleek. Professional. Allows me to have back up AA batteries for emergencies. Comes in a prefect little case to keep it all tidy. I can't say enough about this little lamp! I may get another sometime now that I know how awesome it is. This opens up new opportunities for performing/painting at night, on sidewalks without access to power, etc. Hooray!Note:the UNIT itself is not rechargeable. My AA batteries are! After a five hour painting gig, the batteries were going strong. I love that I can keep three spare batteries in the lamp's case, though!

I was looking for a really good music lamp for my piano. Have looked here and there for years. Nothing was quite right. I felt like little red riding hood...this is too big, this is too small, this gets in the way, yadda yadda...I ran across this one from an online suggestion for a smaller one from the same company. I imagine those uses are great for the smaller ones. This one caught my eye. Yes, it ain't cheap. I've seen this one used in orchestra pits. I wondered how I could get one...since it seemed almost perfect. Decided to give it a try.It is perfect. Provides a great amount of light on my music. Also on the keyboard and controls. Never have to use any concentration to look at anything in small print. Provides the light to only my music work. It seems to be the perfect keyboard lamp. The bright and low setting seem to be perfect. The low is plenty bright, yet subtle.Using it with the AC adapter is great. Don't have to fool around with batteries. Yet, when I need to. Can use batteries. This makes it portable. The case is very nice for travel. The clip holds on my music stand good. It doesn't get in the way of the music. Doesn't provide a bad bump behind the music either. This is the perfect music lamp. I think it's great.I also didn't intend to use it this way. But, I also found myself using it for a reading lamp on my Ikea chair. It works great. I can hold the book all over the place and it provides great light for reading. I wasn't expecting this.I'm in my fifties. Maybe I have just gotten wiser? I very much dislike having to look closely at something to comprehend it, when I'm trying to do something with what I'm looking at. I love this lamp. I can't suggest it more highly. Just suck it up on the money. You get what you pay for.
