I love this light. It folds up so small that it's easy to carry with you. I wish it were a little brighter, but I solved the problem by have 2- one on each end of the music stand. Again, they're so small and easy to carry, that 2 of them is still less than the typical music stand light. I also like that they're rechargeable. No batteries to have to deal with.

I could write a book about why I hate most stand lights, but the primary reason is that the on/off button is placed so that it turns on in your bag and is dead when you get to the gig and it's just too big to fit into the bag so you have to wrap it around itself. The CAHAYA music stand is perfect: it folds small enough and most importantly, the on/off is not a button--it's a switch. Wow. What a brilliant idea. Almost impossible to turn on accidentally. Love this stand light.

La lampara se sostiene muy bien en el atril. El diseño es muy bonito, lo unico por lo que no le pongo 5 estrellas es que la luz dura muy poco tiempo y lo tengo que estar recargando constantemente.

This music stand light is a brilliant design! The light has two brightness settings - very bright for day time and dimmed for those nocturnal gigs. It has a sturdy clip to attach securely to your stand. To charge the internal battery, just plug it in to a USB port with the included cord. The enclosed spec sheet says it will shine for up to 6 hours when fully charged, which should be plenty of time for your perforance (or several). To top it off, the light is on a flexible extension that folds down smaller than a cell phone to fit into your gig bag. Love it!

Esta buenísima la lámpara y con su soporte de clip la puedo poner en mi atril y no estorba tanto. Da la suficiente luz para alcanzar a ver los detalles de las partituras

Love everything about this little light. It's just the right size folded out, folds up very small for storage, quick charging, bright enough for my spot on the back row, very secure when clipped to the stand, I haven't found the end of the battery life yet, but it's certainly enough to get through a day of rehearsal and and a show. As a bonus, the clip is long enough to catch the top of a tall chart on a regular Manhasset stand for outdoor gigs.

Quizás no es muy discreta, pero cumple perfectamente su propósito; la batería dura bastante e incluso puedo sujetar las partituras con ella. Estoy contento con mi compra; vale la pena la inversión.

It was perfect for Easter Vigil. It looked very professional and not wobbly like cheap ones do. I am going to buy more! Who would think you'd get compliments on a booklight? 3 people said something about how nice it was and where did I get it. I think because it is a T shape too and not an alien spacecraft with one eye. The clip was tight enough to hold onto a black binder and then got moved to the back of a book and didn't fall over or interrupt the service. It is not too big or too small. I love how foldable it is and fits in a bag or pocket.( It doesn't look like it would ever fit in anyone's pocket.) I really like the small usb charging cord and bought an extension cord with usb capability so I would never run out. I used it already charged up so the extension cord wouldn't be needed. Very cool. Perfect gift for anyone.

I decided to get this lamp because I really don't like the more common goose neck variety. I had hoped this lamp uses the kind of high intensity LEDs used for under counter lights, but the ones employed appear to be the older, not quite so bright variety. Here's my experience:Pros:1) Well-made and attractive2) Nifty fold up design folds enough to fit in with my music stand in its case.3) Strong clip, yet east to open - will work with almost any stand I can conceive ofCons:1) The brightest setting is just not that bright (in a room with overhead lighting, this light when on actually casts a shadow on the music from the overheads above - my eyes aren't what they used to be so I was hoping to add a bit more light to the page, not a shadow).I can see this working fine in a darkened room where your eyes have dilated a bit, but it would have been nice if this light had the kind of abilities we now see in modern flashlights for brightening and dimming so it would work equally well in a lighted room to brighten the page.

This light folds into a compact well protected "brick". Love that I will no longer be buying disposable batteries and wondering if I may have to change while in use. The clamping base allows a good "bite" of the stand for solid support. I was a little curious how our band "fronts" would work as they allow only a little more of an inch to grip. This light had a tight enough spring that it clamped on fine. Used it on a 3+ hour gig and it did great. Looking those playing around me I can say I had the best illuminated music.
