really like this keyboard and key size. almost perfect if it had longer key hinge and a few additional velocity curves. velocity is acceptable for most things. downfall is trying to play complex chords or scales deep into keys and become difficult to press due to short hinge point. may try to replace to lighter springs because of this. too bad they all scimp in this way. the spring weight would be fine if the key hinge was extended. still fun to play though for simple things and I like fitting more keys into less space.

Product stopped working after about 2 months. Will still light up when plugged in but all keys are unresponsive, I've tried connecting to different computers and with different cables and still nothing.

La tastiera è molto compatta, i tasti sono più corti di quelli di quelli standard e non sono pesati, quindi non ha lo stesso feeling di un pianoforte ovviamente. è molto versatile e comoda per la produzione digitale per via anche della programmabilità midi. Dopo mesi non presenta difetti

Llevaba meses buscando y haciendo cuentas entre todos los teclados MIDI que iba encontrando en amazon, di con este y me agradó ver en algunos reviews que tenía teclas pesadas, ya que en ocasiones anteriores he tenido los de teclas plasticosas y la verdad no he sido fan.Llevo dos días con el teclado y verdaderamente ha superado todas mis expectativas. Todos los comentarios relacionados a calidad-precio son reales. Verdaderamente no sé cómo mantienen el precio tan bajo con un producto de tan buena calidad. El chasis del teclado es metal o aluminio y se siente súper duradero, los knobs de un plástico bastante bonito. Honestamente me daban miedo los controles touch, pero de verdad tienen una respuesta bastante buena. Las teclas se sienten pesadas, obvio no como piano real, pero da una sensación bastante parecida, ideal para practicar. No he sentido lo que dicen algunos comentarios de las teclas durísimas al tocar más arriba, igual y ya arreglaron el problema. Le iba a poner 4 estrellas, porque al ser de third party es más complicado configurarlo con mi DAW, pero pues no tiene muchiiiisimos controles como para que sea un problema. Igual está de tan buena calidad todo lo demás que dejo las 5 estrellas.Para perspectiva, hace unos años compré un AKAI MPKmini y costó lo mismo que este teclado. Tiene más controles pero el plástico y en general todo el producto se siente bastante barato a comparación de este teclado. Recomendadísimo.

Excelente producto de muy buena calidad, no a fallado en lo absoluto y por el precio la verdad es que obtienes un producto con características bastante superiores a las qué se ofrecen en el mercado por un mayor precio. El paquete llego en perfectas condiciones sin ningún tipo de rasguño en lo absoluto.

I got this for my wife so she could learn how to play piano. We've had it for more than 6 months now. She absolutely loves it, and is still practicing almost every day.Pros:Build quality is phenomenal. Sturdy metal chassis, keys are just the right width for a mini keyboard (wider than other keyboards of this size), and the keys are satisfyingly springy and responsive. We've been traveling internationally since we bought this keyboard and it has held up in transit. No damage.Perfect amount of keys. For a 30 inch keyboard 49 keys is incredible. My wife never has to use the octave adjuster because there's always enough keys for what she's playing.Easy integration with Garage Band. She just plugs the piano into her Mac, turns on Garage Band, and it works.Cons:Can't think of any.It's perfect, especially if you're traveling. You can bring this on a plane as a carry-on with no trouble.As for cases:I looked all over for a case for this thing. I searched for days. There are no official cases, and piano cases from big name companies aren't the right fit and cost more than the keyboard itself.Then I found this:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0713PK19LThis tripod case is *absolute perfection*. It fits the piano *perfectly*, is a great price, has multiple straps for easy carrying, is very sturdy and cushioned, and has a little pocket for wires. I highly recommend buying this case along with the piano.

ce clavier n'est certainement pas destiné à un usage sérieux. malgré un boîtier robuste, il est arrivé légèrement plié, les touches du milieu ne fonctionneraient que si elles étaient pressées très fort. les ressorts derrière les touches sont également trop rigides, pas du tout adaptés pour un jeu doux.

The build quality is terrific and much better than I would expect for a $100 midi controller. The keys feels OK, but the one big drawback is the mini-key length being quite short, if you have long fingers it will be difficult to play in a position with your thumb on a black key. It puts your other fingers near the beginning of the keys and there is almost no way to press them down at that point, so you have to 'overcurl' your fingers to play in this position.Bottom line: fine for basic note-entry (and very portable!), but for more involved recording it's not very useful. Maybe easier if you have short fingers?

Product was too big for me so I returned it. I decided to go for something more portable. But if you need an affordable 4 octave range deff go for this one. This product is incredibly high quality!- The product is built like a tank. The cover is actually metal.- There is a midi out port on the back. This is the only device at this price range which has such a connector.- It uses slider pitch bend and modulate but with a unique twist. Beside each sliding track, on the right side, there are tiny green leds that visually show you how far off you are. NEAT!- The keys feel nice and I think are semi weighted and not mini keys . They felt like full size keys. They are not clicky and feel sturdy and nice.

The midiplus X series has surprisingly excellent build quality and design.I was concerned the mini keys would be too small.--not so! just perfect for my medium-large hands/fingers.Buttons/knobs have a nice high-quality feel.I was concerned about the capacitive pitch bender and modulation being weird. NOT SO! I prefer these now to the mechanical pitch benders and modulation wheels on other keyboards. Capacitive sensors are very responsive--just don't wear gloves when you play, right...The X series has a metal body, not plastic (excellent).Of other concern was the touch velocity curve of the actual keys. I would give them a 7 out of 10. You can force a louder curve by setting to 2 or 3, but the default suits me fine out of the box.A really good and affordable keyboard controller. Pick this one over many others in the price range.I have 30 years experience playing various pianos, synths, and digital audio controllers.

Bought this keyboard several months ago. I previously purchased a Midiplus AKM 322 which was surprisingly well built for under $50 but I wanted more keys. I found a Korg Micro Key 37 on eBay for $50 which I thought played pretty nice for a mini keyboard. Soon after, the USB port on the Korg broke which is how I found the X4 Mini. I have full size controllers but i wanted something I could play on the couch or wherever, whenever inspiration struck. Anyway, I loved the idea of a mini sized keyboard with 49 keys so I took a chance with the X4. Immediately after taking the X4 out of the box, I could see that it was really well built. Most mini keyboards I've seen, including ones I have as well as the Akai MPK mini, all feel like toys. The X4 feels like a miniature professional controller. It's pretty stripped down feature-wise but the transport controls and knobs are still useful. It also has a midi out port and sustain pedal 1/4" jack. The touch strips for pitch and mod work well although the pitch bend could be a little smoother so if that's a big part of your playing style, you might not be thrilled. The key size is a little wider and bigger than the Korg Micro 37's.The overall feel is really good for a keyboard at this price. The chassis is metal so it's heavier than the other mini keyboards I've seen and it really feel rather indestructible. You can play it pretty aggressively and it stays put.While not as important, the x4 looks pretty cool when plugged in. The buttons and knobs all light up with nice bright LEDs...Well, I don't write reviews as much as I should and I've been meaning to write one for the X4 for a while. I'm about to purchase another one for a friend as a surprise gift because I like it that much. For anyone looking for a good high quality mini key controller, I can't recommend this one enough. Don't be put off by the fact that it's not one of the name brands. This keyboard is far superior in quality to the Korg and Akai mini keyboards.
