First off some of the LEDs don't work, 2nd the tape is very weak and won't hold the strip in place and lastly will cause bulb out error on a 2022 Chevy 2500hd, either with the 4 pin trailer plug, Return as I type this

Installed the 48-inch strip on a Carry-On trailer with flip-down ramp. Placed on the rear, lower frame member below the ramp. I am using this light strip in addition to the stock lights on the trailer. Used a four flat plug two-way splitter at the truck, with one plug going to the stock lights circuit, and the other plug to the LED light strip. Cleaned the metal well with soap and water, then rubbing alcohol. Wrapped the light strip in a heating pad to make it limber on a cold February day, and it was simple to adjust it; it conformed well to the frame, and the adhesive is very strong. I had no issues getting it to stick. I wired in the back up lights on the strip using a two flat plug: one plug wired to one of the green wires to the back-up lights on the truck, and the other plug to a wire spliced to the red wire on the light strip. So, I can disconnect the trailer from the truck by unplugging two connections. Everything works as advertised: turn signals, running lights, brake lights, emergency flasher and back-up lights. No glitches, no complaints. The trailer is so much more visible now, and traffic keeps noticeably farther back on the road. I am very happy with the light strip, and the price is very reasonable. While I had the back-up light wire to the truck taillight exposed, I added a back-up alarm bolted to the bottom of the bumper. It rocks!

I will start off with the pros. This product is stupidly bright. Very impressed with it. Now this is only day one, so I will update later after running it for a little while. It's affordable for most budgets, so that is also a plus.Cons: If you have a newer truck like mine (2024 Silverado 1500) you are going to run into some issues. One, you can't use the 4-pin connector, it will always think you have a trailer in. Two, you will have to buy another splitter harness if you don't want to t-tap any lines. If you choose to run these lights into your brakes (smart choice), if you have a 2024 truck, GOOD LUCK finding wiring diagrams. For those with the new Silverado 1500s, I will give you a cheat sheet.Find the connector plug underneath your truck (the wire runs right up to your tail lights. Pull the red CPA plug back, push and pull out the connector. You will only need one side for most of your wires.Light green is your reverse, black is your ground, brown is your running lights, dark green is your turn signal. Those colors are the same on each side. So from the 4 wire, (white, yellow, brown, red and green) you will run White>Black, Yellow>Dark Green (left), Green>Dark Green (right, other harness), Brown>Brown, Red>Light Green.Use a medium size t-tap, normally blue.Last con...probably like all these light bars, there is a slight delay when braking and using your turn signal. Probably about 1-2 seconds.

East y to install and looks really nice. I love the turn signal and the reverse lights really help illuminate the darkness behind your truck. I mounted to an 07 dodge Ram 2500 and these trucks have an access hole for the spare tire that’s right in the middle of where you need to install that usually prevents any installation of a light like this. As a workaround I installed heavy duty adhesive Velcro strip the length of the light strip on the back of the light strip and the hook portion of Velcro strip on the truck. Now I can peel back the light strip if I need to get to my spare tire without ruining the light strip!

Light bar is nice and bright, fairly easy ro install. A bit on the expensive side bur hopefully will last longer than the first light bar I purchased. This light bar had a warranty which is a bonus for longer life, the first light bar did not make one year but was quite a bit cheaper in price. Talk to me in a couple years

With a little bit of work I can make this work on my 2020 F-250 Superduty. So owners of 2020 Ford super duty’s this is how you can install it on yours-I bought a four flat connector splinter, 3M auto molding tape, flat aluminum stock. Before buying I called my local custom shop and they told me they could only put one on the bottom edge of the tailgate which would look pretty stupid. Before buying I called my local custom shop and they told me they could only put one on the bottom edge of the tailgate which would look pretty stupid And all the rain, sun and winter muck would run on top of it and the 3m tape. That’s just a bad choice and not an option plus they want it over 300 bucks to do with that cheesy way. That’s just a bad choice and not an option plus they want it over 300 bucks to do with that cheesy way. When your light comes first plug in your four Flat connector on your bumper to make sure it works correctly then once you know what side is your left turn signal and right turn signal which is the wire that goes into the LED light would be your light bar left side the side with no wires would be the right side.So I mounted it between the bumper and the tailgate inside on the metal frame that you’ll see where this light should be mounted but For the F2 50 there’s a black cosmetic panel in the center held on by two security screws that you remove. Online forums say can't use the trailer connectors or trailer wiring. Say to hard wire to taillight wiring to remedy issue. That will be next. The light bar comes with an extra 4 flat plug with wires to do just that...............................
