I used these to mount some other Nilight LED's to our old Suz. Sidekick. Fit very quickly and securely. USE THREADLOCK on the little allen screws that clamp the unit on. These work great for our needs.

I’ve had these for almost a year and they’ve held up perfectly. They are a bit tricky to mount but they hold well and look good. An affordable option but without compromising for quality.

Quality wise the product is good. But to get the delivery of the product was a nightmare. I had to call the customer care more than 15 times to get the delivery done.

bought these a few months ago thinking they'd be useful for something at some point. they are. got a different light bar recently and wanted it in a very specific spot, behind upper grille of 5th gen 4runner. it was becoming a pain in the buns til i remembered i had these. (tried drilling, beam clamps, unistrut brackets, etc nothing lined up to fit it the way i wanted it since it was such a tight spot, wanted it set back a little as well)very versatile and can get you into a tight spot if you can work them properly. going to buy two more sets just to have for whatever i need. and you aren't stuck with having to use one size like you would with 3/8 or 1/4-20 beam clamps. don't want to have to drill/tap everything.

I bought these about 2 years ago for a set of pod lights I had laying around and for the price I couldn't beat it. Installation is easy enough albeit it can be a balancing act with the pressure plate or whatever they call it and hood. The plate that gets sandwiched to the underside of the hood can be finicky and will dislodge from it's mounting holes if the angle is too severe (hood up in my case). That's all meh and isn't too big of an issue. The biggest issue I have with these are the mounting screws. These things will back off with the vibration of the vehicle so quickly, especially after time. My recommendation would be to put red/blue locktite on the threads immediately. This will help keep them from backing off sooner and if you use these in a weird spot where it's hard to access, that could be a pain reattaching them. Also, don't go through an automatic car wash bc the brushes/tentacle things that go over the car will knock them off. Others may have different experiences with this product but this is mine. Overall it's not a bad product but it definitely has its flaws, mainly those little screws.

I bought these to try out as mounts for some "ditch lights" at the back of the hood on my Subaru. At the time, no one offered a low cost option for SJ Foresters. The mechanics are relatively simple, and the design works for most places....with one problem. The top is rubber coated, helps to keep from scratching paint. Good. The bottom, however, is just a thin metal plate, that gets clamped up to the top portion by 4 little hex head screws. This thin metal plate is so thin, that without being clamped on a surface, it easily falls out and inevitably ends up in your engine bay somewhere. It has 2 thin tabs that are supposed to "guide" it into the right place, but they too are thin enough to let the piece just fall out.So, you're trying to get this thing clamped on the lip of your hood (or whatever), you are trying to get it lined up, adjust these 4 tiny little hex set screws, and one slip up sends that little metal bit out into the twilight zone. It's finicky. It works, but have some patience set aside to get it where you want.Better yet, sand and coat the thin strip that makes up the bottom clamp (the clamp side, not where the set screws push up on) with some rubber based coating, or plasti-dip. Maybe even a thin strip of rubber or weatherstrip foam could work, too, depending on the width of what you're clamping on to.They hold up well. Once you get the set screws evenly tight, these little brackets will stay put. I'm not sure I'd put some really heavy light assembly on them, like a Diode Dynamics SS3, but I originally used them for some mini motorcycle sized lights to see the deer in the fields to the side. For something light weight, I think they'll work well. Heavier bars or pods might loosen up over time, so you might want a more heavy duty mount for those.
