Microscope itself is good, just disappointed it did not come with the phone attachment as advertised.

It works well enough for me to look at my dog's urine for crystallization and to check the trichomes on my bud to see if it's ready to harvest. It's a little Overkill for the bud but it's perfect for the urine

Got this for my daughter who loves loves loves looking at everything through a microscope. While this doesn’t have a movable table, it focuses well and the top and bottom lighting is wonderful. No complaints!

Tin foil is metal, but is it as sturdy as steel? You would never consider building some tool out of tin foil, even if it was layered. Well, that's what this microscope feels like; cheap, thin metal (where it is metal). The microscope moves opposite as one might expect because it's the stage that moves up and down, not the head of the microscope. The LED light below is ok but it is the wrong color temperature to really be useful. The filter disks are ok but aren't exciting or even necessary. The included slides look like the were hastily gludd glued together.I don't like this microscope one bit. I was thinking I could use it as a supplement to my aging Swift Nine Sixty but I never do. I could get over it being small, but it feels so cheap, I'm worried I'll drop and break it. The only thing I could see this microscope being useful for would be to give to some dumb kid who hasn't learned about quality microscopes yet. But, the price would need to come way down, as it is, the price is very high for a cheap microscope you can find the equivalent to on Ali for less than half of what that costs.Three stars because the dual illumination is a neat idea and it does come with a few lenses (even if they are too small no swap around). Plus, there's probably a lot of children who could use something cheap like this, ignorant as they are. Still, I don't recommend it to anyone other than them.
