Quality and innovation I’ve come to expect from Microjig. I’m pretty heavily invested in the matchfit system, I’ve made several home made jigs, and these ring clamps increase the usefulness of what I’ve already made. If you’re already in the microjig system, there’s no reason not to get these.

I'm becoming a fan of this holding mechanism. I usually use tables with aluminum t-tracks, but this method has some pretty compelling advantages. These discs are easy to assemble and they grip tightly. The plastic is very very dense and as a result they are pretty heavy. Nevertheless, they'll do less damage to a router bit than an aluminum holding device.

I personally prefer the other shapes for holding items on my workbench in place, but anyone buying this knows its round when they order it so you obviously must like he round shape. They work as described, seem to be authentic micro jig product and are still a good addition to my micro jig collection.

These clamps really work and are easy to operate with one hand. I use them with my 360 Sled and I found them to be very helpful. The cam locking action is really handy, since I can loosen the clamp without actually sliding the clamp itself. The clamps are a bit pricey, but pretty much on-par with MicroJig products. If you're already invested in the MatchFit system or are getting into it, I'd encourage you to pick up a pair of these.

I've reviewed many products from Microjig and they are all good stuff. I am into woodworking, so their items are right up my alley. These are well made with a great fit and finish. They are of course plastic, but well made plastic. Best yet, it's such a great idea for holding material. I am using these on my CNC and they do what they are suppose to. Easy and simple clamps. One of that really impresses me with all microjig products, they always include high quality, professional and detailed instructions. They show you how to use what you bought. So refreshing compared to all the products that don't come with any instructions.Love this set, fair price, would gladly recommend.

The MICROJIG Matchfit Ring Clamps are a fantastic addition to any woodworking setup, offering secure and low-profile workholding for dovetail track systems. I’ve used them on my router table and for CNC projects, and they hold materials firmly without getting in the way. The twist-to-tighten cam-action mechanism is smooth and easy to adjust, saving time during setup. However, at $29 for a 2-pack, they do feel a bit pricey compared to other clamps. That said, the convenience and versatility they provide make them worth the investment if you frequently work with dovetail tracks and need reliable clamping solutions.

These ring clamps from MicroJig work great. They're unobtrusive and clamp down tight. Basically, these are eccentric rings mounted to a dovetailed slot. You'd think that friction would cause the rings to lock up long before any real pressure was applied to the workpiece, but that's not the case. These are made out of a slick material like HDPE, but hard as a rock. The combination of a fixed dovetailed slot and the eccentric ring makes for a lot of force. And, I like that they can be set or released without much effort and with just one hand. The matching dovetail router bit makes a huge difference, because it lets you turn anything into a jig. With these ring clamps, it's easy to get a tight hold on flat pieces and still have clearance to work. For example, this clamp only sits 33mm off the bench, so planing is a lot easier because you can use the whole width of the board. Plus, you don't have to worry so much about accidentally nicking a blade like you might on a metal clamp. And, if you have to repeatedly flip the workpiece, then these clamps are perfect because they're so simple to release and clamp back down with one hand.
