I made a top/covering for my small Pony work table from 3/4 birch plywood and the MatchFit dovetail bit. I made it in a waterfall config , so I can clamp vertical and horixontally. Thus far it is 1000% improvement in the capability of my work bench, I can sand, I can reliably set screws, route, chisel etc all with the work piece reliably and safely held down. I liked them so much I bought the CNC kit to try on the CNC

These clamps are amazing. Theyre easy to unlock and reposition. They hold REALLY TIGHT. I use them for many things. One of the things I use them for, I clamp my scroll frame for embroidery to various tables to work on it. It's easy to get set up, and the clamps hold the two pieces so tight you can practically shake them and they won't come apart. Very impressive. The plastic could be a little thicker since it feels a little delicate when working in a fast tempo. The option to route your own tracks is great too. How many times has a table come with one clamp but you need to clamp multiple spots?

I recently set up a layout and glue-up table in my shop. Part of the build was to install flush track that I could slip clamps or dogs in for assembling cabinets and other things. These clamps slide into the track and hold tightly. They are very good quality and easy to use. I can’t recommend them highly enough.They are simply great. Actually, I’d like to have a dozen more of these. They work so well; even without the track. I’ve used them by themselves to hold pieces in place and it works great.I wholeheartedly recommend these to any do-it-yourselves or professional woodworker. You can make all kinds of hold downs and clamping jigs with these clamps. Install a t-track or cut a dovetail slot in a board and you have an instant jig. I have other Microjig products and all hold up well with normal use. No complaints on quality or reliability. Highly recommended.

I have arthritis and these are a dream when it comes to gripping and tightening for and 'clamps required' project. Typically these hand ratchet squeeze models are a little hard for me to get tight as my arthritis gets to me usually, but these were so smooth and easy to squeeze and get good clamping action that finally I set a few clamps on my project pieces without my hands screaming in pain afterwards. And once they are set they hold their tension and place really well, I didn't come back to find them expanded or fallen off, they were where I left them super tight and snuggly. They are large enough to handle the biggest of clamp jobs and when you need to release them, they release just like they tighten, like a dream! They are easy to release or tighten with just one hand, which is awesome.These clamps were a surprisingly impressive find, with great quality and features...

I don't know why I was hopeful that these would work with Rockler T-track. I should have done a little research. They do not fit but, with a slightly tweaked design, I think they would. I don't know why they don't manufacture these to fit both. It just seems silly!Anyway, I will plan to use these for new jigs and sleds where the projected longevity doesn't justify T-track. I'll see. I think T-track is amazing thought and I can generally keep reusing track into smaller and smaller jigs and sleds.The clamps themselves are cleanly designed; however, at nearly $20 / each in later 2024, they seem a bit pricey. I can see where they should cost more than a typical Irwin quick grip clamp--the bar is folded and additionally machined for the dovetail. However, I think the Irwin design would likely survive a few more drops (more robust plastic reinforcement) and I definitely prefer the Irwin trigger release to the small release on these. The MicroJig trigger design is actually pretty clever and I probably just need some time to get accustomed to it. The MicroJig pads are a better and grippier design than the Irwin quick grips.
