I wanted to like this towel, but I'm honest in my reviews and it just doesn't make the cut. The 24x36 size is the correct size for a car drying towel. Anything longer and it's constantly hitting the ground. The first problem is that the microfiber is only on one side. That really reduces the amount of water it can hold because you can't flip it over. It's also very thin and I didn't find it very soft either.I photographed one next to a Chemical Guys Wolly Mammoth and you can see it's probably 1/3 as thick or even less. It works, but it just doesn't hold much water. Sure, you get three of them for less than one Wolly Mammoth, but the Wolly Mammoth can hold 3x the water because it's thicker and you can flip it over.I love a bargain and if this had been anywhere near the quality of what I consider to be a good towel, I would have given it high marks. Unfortunately it just doesn't meet my standards for a car drying towel.

Today, I washed all my vehicles and got to try out these microfiber towels. I ordered them a few weeks ago, and the sunny weather made it the perfect day for testing them. It only took me about 15 minutes to dry my car, and it looked shiny and clean right away! The towel felt nice and soaked up the water well, which made it much easier than using regular towels that usually left my car streaky. When I checked out other towels online, I saw that these are big and super absorbent, which is a big plus for me. They worked way better than some more expensive towels I have used before. I would give these towels a strong **5 out of 5 stars**. They’re perfect for anyone who wants to keep their car looking awesome without a lot of hassle!

I ordered this drying towel with the understanding that the special featured Korean twisting yarn is on both sides of the towel. So I was surprised to find that the towel is dual-sided with the special twisting yarn feature, which is kind of like a short shaggy rug, only on one side. The other side is fine but lacks the yarn feature. I've used many car drying towels before and I would classify this one as medium soft; not very soft, but certainly softer than chamois. I am impressed with the size of this towel. I tested this towel on my washed midsize sedan. Both sides are scratch free, but I do prefer the special yarn side which seems to be much more absorbent. I was able to dry my whole car with this one towel, although it was getting wet at the end. But since it's not so thick, it doesn't take too long to dry after wash. Also comes with a handy hook to hang in your garage.Someone had mentioned that they can get better towels at a better price. I don't know where this person shops but I haven't seen any car drying towels - certainly not this size - under $10 in years, not even at Walmart. This is a good towel for a good price. I deducted one star for the lack of transparency in the listing; boasting of the special yarn feature when in fact, it is only on one side of the towel.

I'm a somewhat avid car washer with a routine based on convergent best practices and over 40 years of passionate car ownership. My 20 year old truck and car look like-new and they are not garaged.I don't buy into the hype re microfiber, I prefer tagless cotton towels designed for car washing, or old absorbent cotton towels which haven't hardened yet. Microfiber has its place, but can scratch and leave water or chemicals behind. That said, I'm always up for a product that works. At least one picture in the ad shows this towel being used with the wrong side up. The towel has a fluffy microfiber side and harder back side which could potentially be used to scrub bug residue or other gunk off of windows (not paint). I'm not pointing out a "mistake," I'm pointing out what I think is misleading. Since the picture shows the fluffy side up, by deduction, the hard side is down facing the clear coat which will impart scratches even if you've done a solid job of claying, and who clays every time they wash anyway? On the other hand, the video shows the correct side being used: fluffy side down, hard side up. I've included a picture of mine so you can see the difference. The edge/trim is very good, but what gives me pause to this otherwise good sized, thick microfiber towel, and not including my historical concerns re microfiber moving but not absorbing enough water, is that when I hold it up to the light I can see through it all over the place. It makes me wonder how uniformly this towel will perform and whether it has built in weak spots which will not survive years of laundry cycles. Because of all the detergents and chemicals, I use a vigorous washing machine cycle with a double rinse and special detergent. I've never had an issue, but I wonder about this. Since durability is merely speculation and concern, I have not deducted any stars for this, just the misleading marketing.

Don't be too surprised--when you receive these towels, they won't look or feel at all like you would expect. They come wrapped in a double layer of clear plastic and a lot of transparent tape--and apparently vacuum-packed (to save space when shipping, I assume). Thus, you'll likely think they're stiff and almost rock-hard until you get them out of the packaging--and then they feel nicely soft and pliable; suitable for drying your car. There's only one "business" side to the towel, with the absorbent fiber loops. The other side doesn't have them--which probably helps the towel dry out faster after use. There's a thoughtfully-provided hanging loop at one corner (though it will dry even faster if you drape it over a clothesline). The large size of these towels should help speed your drying job!
