These “shammy” (how you pronounce chamois) towels are exactly what I was looking for! They are big (17” x 26”), thick, soft, flexible, and really soak up the water to dry my car after washing it. They don’t damage my car’s paint or finish and leave no streaking or lint behind. Love that 3 come in this pack. However, they did not come with a tube to store them in. They come in plastic bags and are slightly damp in there, but I will need to put them in a more air-tight storage solution to keep them from drying out. If they do dry out, however, from past experience, all I will need to do is get them wet and wring them out and they’re just like new again.

Not what I expected. Quite large but don't dry like I though they would. Don't think I would buy again. I'm

I first found these type of shameless in our 99 cent store. Found they work great in Kitchen and anywhere you need to wipe up water. They absorb water quickly, and as long as you let them dry out between uses they smell fine. Size is great as I cut them into 4 good sized kitchen rags. They are easy to use cause how hard is it to wet your rag before you use it. These are thick enough that they don't tear easily and the honeycomb side helps with cleaning up sticky spots.

Finding a good chamois can be hit and miss, but I would say these were a really good choice. These come in a three-pack, and I was very impressed when receiving them as they came pre-moistened, which is essential for not getting micro scratches when using a new chamois. Right out of the package, they are very soft and spongy and have a smooth texture to them.I always recommend soaking and wringing out your chamois to remove any residue or debris, and these were very clean and had no odd smells or chemical treatments. After washing my car, I was very impressed with the amount of water they are able to soak up. If you use a towel to dry, this is a huge upgrade, and I highly recommend these over any type of ordinary towel. If you have used a chamois before, you will be familiar with the small amount of water that is left behind when you swipe it or drape it across the vehicle panel you are working on. Using these, the amount of water left behind was almost nothing; it really soaks it up fast, and it would be hard to say which is better, a natural or synthetic like these. These did a great job and are perfect for prepping your car for waxing or just drying it off after a quick wash. They didn't leave any residue like some chamois do, and there were minimal water streaking marks. Overall, very happy with these, and you could use them for your vehicle or so many additional drying applications. Five stars for a great product, and for the price point and quantity you get, it's a really good value also.

It’s not that great in drying the car and when it dries up it gets very stiff

The towels arrived individually sealed and pre-dampened. When I saw how soft they are, however, I was a bit skeptical that it would be effective in drying a car. But to my pleasant surprise, it is very absorbent and effective in drying my car. I was able to dry a good portion of my car before it got too wet to be effective. I deducted one star from this product because it is dual sided. One side is textured presumably for scrubbing and the other side is smooth for drying. But if I were to use the textured side for washing and scrubbing, then the towel would get wet which would impact its efficacy to dry. So in my opinion, you're either a washcloth or a drying towel. You can't effectively be both. Even if I were to use the textured side for washing, the towel is too large for that purpose. You need a small washcloth or sponge to effectively wash. I like the idea but I don't think it was properly thought through. But all in all, this is a good value for what you get.

I like these kind of drying cloths, they work well and do a decent job and can be wrung out, unlike a cotton towel that doesn't do well after getting wet. You do want to have your car nice and clean though as I'm guessing these shouldn't be machine washed often if they get dirty.Only thing missing is a storage container to help keep them damp in between car washes, otherwise they dry out and get hard and take some time to soak in water to soften up again. I have some old cooling towel containers I'll try to store them in, or maybe an old food storage container would work too.Good price and would buy again.
