The six-channel Micro maestro raises the performance bar for serial servo controllers with features such as a native USB interface and internal scripting control. Whether you want high-performance servo control (0.25Μs resolution with built-in speed and acceleration control) or a general I/O controller (E.G. To interface with a sensor or ESC via your USB port), this tiny, versatile device will deliver. The fully assembled version ships with header pins installed. Supports three control methods: USB for direct connection to a computer, TTL serial for use with embedded systems, and internal scripting for self-contained, host controller-free the channels can be configured as servo outputs for use with radio control or electronic speed controls, as digital outputs, or as analog inputs. Three control methods: USB, TTL (5V) serial, and internal scripting. 0.25Μs output pulse width resolution. Pulse rate Configurable from 33 to 100 Hz. Wide pulse range of 64 to 3280 μs. Individual speed and acceleration control for each channel. Size: 0.85" x 1.20". use USB a male to 5-pin USB mini-b cable.

Great product. Working on some small animatronic robots and this worked perfectly. Super smooth Servo control with no stuttering that i get on the cheap servo testers. Software is fairly easy to use and can also be controlled through serial commands. Great device to have if you want to automat some servo control. Wish i knew about them sooner.

Good price and fun to play with. The software makes it very easy to program it to do what you like. I’ll be getting more of these for sure.

I have a simple task that reads a potentiometer and drives two servos. It's a repetitive task with little variation. Easy to program and debug. If you need sophisticated programming, this is not the device for you. I do wish the world would complete the transition to USB-C. I'm tired of adapters. Oh, BTW there is some soldering involved which allows the USB to power the servos if your task doesn't draw more power than the USB can handle.

I have been using this product for a little while now and it does all the things it says it does. More importantly, when I had an issue (my fault) Pololu offered great help. The issue experienced had nothing to dow ith the controller but they helped me troubleshoot it find a solution.

Quick delivery. Item itself is well built and works great! I wish they would come up with a similar board but one that can support audio servo synching. Definitely recommend this product.

This is exactly what I needed. I'm using this to control a robotic arm via computer by remote. I print things by remote with a 3D Printer and an HD camera via remote from work, the issue is sometimes prints fail if I forget a small detail. Then I'm stuck with this failed part on my printer bed. The idea is to clear failed prints off my 3d printer with a robotic arm I beefed up with 20kg servos. I tried it out and it works perfect.

Hooked it to my laptop and several servo motors. The movement was smooth and solid without the "hold position" jitters seen in many other products. It is nice to have settings to control ramp-up ramp-down, speed, and other settings per channel. Worked the first time. Just days after hooking it to my project, my battery leaked all over it. Will need to get another one to continue my testing.

This little board works great. You will need to their website and download the software and add a jumper to run with a single supply. But after that you will be up and running with ease. The software is very nice and provides a lot of features to control the board. I like the fact that you can control the board functionality for both inputs and outputs. With this control you can do much more then just drive servos.

This device is perfect for those wanting a programmable servo controler for home and hobby robotics. I've tried to find similar devices to control servos and motors from a USB connection, thinking that if I find one without some of the included features that I do not use nor want, it should be a little cheaper, but that was not the case. Even the smallest and simplest of motor controlers and servo controllers, even those that are not programmable and able to function without active USB connection cost more than four times as much! This device includes dll libraries and some technical reference web links that will help anybody familiar with programming to write their own software for more specific applications, but the included software (or optionally, freely downloaded software) is more than enough for most uses. This device should be a requirement for young students entering into a STEM course study including robotics, since it is the most affordable and most usefull basis of learning robotics. My only complaints are that I wish the manufacturer would make another vision in the same price range or less that omits a few features or capabilities, to simply control small toy/hobby DC motors. The Micro Maestro servo controllers have those features available, but since they use a pulsed votage in motor control mode, the motors are never able to recieve 100% of the voltage level of the power supply/battery, and for many motors, that means not even enough to turn. I'd also like to see somebody come up with a GUI that would allow for a script to control the Micro Maestro in realtime from the USB, without it being written to the device's memory, so that it could also be used for computer controlled robotics, instead of only for programmable robotics. The included software does allow for direct, manual servo control by moving sliders on the GUI screen, but this device has so much more potential in the areas of user interfaces, applications and programming that escape the average user who may not have experience in writing computer programs/applications.4 stars because the device itself deserves more than 5, but the available end-user software is a bit too limited and barely deserving of 3 stars from a consumer perspective.
