What is it used for?
Perfect for a water resistant cable strain relief. Screw directly into plug holes of standard American wiring boxes, giving you an IP66 rated enclosure.
What is NPT?
NPT stands for National Pipe Thread, which is a U.S. standard for tapered threads having a 60 degree thread angle with taper angle of 1.79 degrees. Keep in mind that NPT thread is not compatible with metric or PG threads.
- Flammability UL94V-2 rating with static working temperatures of -40 to 212°F (-40 to 100°C).

THROUGH-PANEL PROTECTION
Provides strain relief, stability, and edge protection to a cable or group of wires passing through a panel cutout or hole. Watertight design protects your wires from moisture and dust.
EASY INSTALLATION
Simply tighten the top “dome” nut to compress the bushing and create a reliable seal. Your cable is centered, sealed, and completely strain relieved with a turn of the hand.
PRACTICAL DESIGN
Dome nut with ergonomically designed gripping grooves makes tightening by hand or with a wrench an easy task.

These Cord Grip Glands will hold a 12 Gauge cord in place without any issues. There is a back on the gland that holds the main body in place. It has a rubber liner inside the gland that keeps the cord in position. As the end cap is screwed down, the slotted top tightens down as the end cap is screwed down. It gives a finished look to any project.
