These strain reliefs were perfect for my project. The first thing I noticed is that the quality is very good. The fittings are tight. Very strong. Once installed they're not going to move. I will buy more if the need arises. The price was great too. Recommended.

a 1/2NPT hole is too large. 7/8" works perfect. 12mm ID is 1/2" so it will grab a 1/2"SJ

I’ve used cable glands for a variety of projects, but somehow the existence of the 90-degree angled ones (except in the bulky metal/conduit variety) alluded me.While the range suggests cords up to 14mm, I’d suggest not trying for anything larger than 12mm OD. Other than that, these work exactly as intended.Also note that, while 15mm of thread seems like a lot (referring to the 20 and 25mm varieties), if you use the included washers and nut, your really only have about 3mm of thickness to work with (see pic). Personally, I’d suggest tossing the plastic washer and recovering an extra 1mm… the washer simply didn’t seem to add anything to my install structurally, and the nut was still easy enough to properly tighten.

Very robust fitting for plastic! My cable was on the large size to fit, and had to really work it to get it fed through. The fitting took the pressure well, and when finished, the sealing nut tightened up fine around cable.

I like these plastic strain relief connectors much better than the traditional metal ones that need tightening of the two screws to secure the wire.These strain relief connectors worked great with the 12-gauge wire and are able to secure the wire really tight. I used them to secure the wires coming out of the electrical panel and couldn't be happier!
