I bought these after buying the larger ones, my car uses the larger ones all day long but doesn't seem to like these smaller ones. Will be getting more of the larger ones down the road

These button work great, but I had to take the small foam which made the button left sensitive for my poor lazy boy to press. Once I took the foam out the button was much more responsive.

I bought these buttons to replace the much more well known (and expensive) buttons we used to use as we had the type that required internet and an app. I liked those because they have a large separate speaker that makes it easier to hear however we had to switch to using our phone data for internet and those buttons won't work without an actual router.Pros:Personally I find these buttons much nicer to look at. The dog also seems to be using them more, whether that's because he missed using the buttons when we didn't have any, or he just finds these easier to use I can't say but these are quite a bit larger than the other ones. Also, I am a little hard of hearing and have tinnitus but I find I can still hear the buttons even if I'm in another room. I was skeptical about the velcro holding the buttons in place for long but it's been a couple of weeks and so far it's been holding fine.Cons:That said, these buttons don't always trigger the sound when you press them. Both myself and the dog have only about a 75% success rate with the recording playing when the button is pressed. The other, more well-known expensive brand, also had this problem occasionally (though not nearly as often as these) when the dog pressed them but I think that was due to the size as I never had that issue when I pressed them. The non-skid pads they come with do skid quite easily, which has been annoying for me, though the dog seems to still know which button is which (they all look the same to me and if I am modelling I have to read all the stickers if the buttons are in different positions).Overall:These are really aesthetically pleasing, easy to use buttons at a very affordable price point. I had thought we would use them as a stop gap until we had internet again but I am already considering selling my popular name brand ones and just continuing to use these even after we move.

I’ve been teaching my Frencies to use it. I have a very smart boy that has been picking up on it with regular training. At first, they didn’t understand the concept, however after a week they understand my voice! At first, my “smart” boy would run over the buttons. Teach them one at a time and then you’ll have to pick up the mat or you’ll be hearing them beg all day for what they want! I have one for “hungry”, “goodie” and “outside”. So far the outside button isn’t used. I rearranged them but it wasn’t an issue after a few days. I’m amazed at the voice recognition they have with the buttons. Take your time, be immediate with the request and enjoy the communication! It’s amazing!

So, we ordered these for our great dane who seems to love to "bop" things with her nose and has become reluctant to ring her bells to go potty. These were advertised as easy to activate, requiring less pressure...we figured with a great dane's size, no problem. Well, first, we've been working for several days--out of the box, our dane was terrified of them. She doesn't like to use them from the floor, but seems more willing after we command strip secured it to our door where her bells used to be. The issue is, while it doesn't take a ton of force to depress the button, if it is not pressed in EXACTLY the right way, the word/saying that you recorded on the button will NOT play. If you're lucky, you hear a small click that alerts you that your dog tried to activate the button and failed. So far, all we are really getting is clicks unless we "help" our dog push it.That being said, a smaller dog who steps on it, or a dog not hesitant to use the button may have better results. Also of note, they shipped me a completely EMPTY bubble mailer when I ordered these and I had to do an Amazon customer service chat to have them shipped again. Not forcibly opened. Not tampered with. Straight up empty. Amazon did, however manage to get us the buttons (obviously) the second time around.

To begin, I must mention that I really like the appearance of the setup, and the audibility of the buttons are adequate. I simply wish I hadn't received a partially utilized item since I wanted to personalize the buttons myself. I did not request a used set, but when I opened the package, this was what I received. Stickers are already on the buttons, and the velcro on the back of one of the buttons is damaged.

The MEWOOFUN Dog Buttons Talk set has been an incredible addition to our pet communication tools. My dog is now able to press the buttons to communicate his needs, and it’s truly amazing to see how quickly he has learned how to use them. The set comes with a mat and nine rechargeable buttons, which are easy to set up and use. Each button records a voice message that my dog can press when he needs something like food, outside time, or attention. It’s been so rewarding to watch him grasp the concept and start using the buttons to express himself. This set is ideal for anyone looking to take pet communication to the next level. I’m excited to continue exploring the possibilities with these buttons, and I highly recommend them for any pet owner.

Didn't get as far as opening the boxes with the buttons but the mat was clearly already used and filthy--full of hair and dirt. Who does that? Sold as new.

I got this as a starter kit to teach my dog to communicate. We have started with modelling 2 phrases. "Go outside" and "dinner time". The buttons were easy to set up and they can be easily pressed. My dog is 10lb and I do not foresee him having any difficulty pressing the button himself. We have been modelling the phrases for almost a month. My dog has not started pressing the buttons himself yet but he likes watching us do it and that's a step in the right direction. I will continue modelling the phrases and have patience. I will do target training in another month if he doesn't start pressing on his own by then. I will keep modelling and have patience because I am motivated for him to learn. I plan on buying the 9 button kit next and putting it together with this kit.Pros: easy set up. clear sound. easy to press. the nonslip mat and the Velcro on the bottom of the buttons are very helpful.Cons: requires lots of patience. the stickers that were included were not very useful but from what I understand the labels are more for us humans and the pets rely on the placement of the buttons.

I have used something similar while training my sons dog and found them very effective. I decided in these for a toy puppy and they are the perfect size for small dogs or cats. Dry easy to use. Just push the button and hold it on the bottom then record whatever you want it to say. I wish the mat was more plastic instead of nylon as I feel like it will get dirty easier and not come clean. I wish it came with more stickers because I think the top part where the stickers go won’t last long but I guess we will see. The button Ma them self are sturdy I like the colors ok. Yellow: yes Grey: yes but blue or awful dark. Wish the colors where more vivid but the dog probably does not mind. My first time training with the bigger button was very easy with this toy pup I will have to see how it goes. I ordered the 9 button set with mat and I do like it and I think with time it will turn out to be super effective. I will post a video when we get there a it’s only been a week and the puppy is only 6 weeks. “Potty” is step 1!

Sound quality and durability is awesome. Easy to record your voice. It is easy to push, which was important because our puppy was only a pound and a half when she came home. These are much nicer then other sets I have seen. I am sure with a smart dog or cat or whatever AND a dedicated trainer these would be awesome. Unfortunately we are neither. I will be giving her some more time for her to grow up a bit more before we try again. But am truly hopeful.

Our dogs already use an electronic doorbell to let us know when they want to go outside to go potty, so I was curious if using these dog buttons would be an easy transition for them. We have both a mini aussie and a french bulldog, and was surprised when our frenchie, who is notoriously stubborn, decided that these buttons are the highest value thing in the entire house. This pack came with 3 buttons, which easily velcro to a non-slip mat. All 3 buttons already have the batteries in them. To record you hold down a small button, record your word, then let go. The mat didn't slip even with my dog digging the heck out of it. There are stickers you can place on the buttons, as well as a screwdriver for the battery door.I've been watching talking dog celebrities for a bit and always thought I might regret hearing what my dog had to say (presumably a lot of demanding food), so I thought I'd start with a word that I'm always happy to give: "SNUGGLES"! As soon as I put the mat down with the button on it, my frenchie went over and start hitting and digging at the button. She was so excited when I'd give her snuggles whenever she hit it. Now, she's watching it, I guess because she's scared someone might take away her "snuggles on demand" machine. Unfortunately she likes it so much she won't let our other dog near it, but once the excitement has worn off they'll be able to share it.I plan to tap it walking by sometimes and then providing snuggles to help them both associate the action with the button. The one thing I noticed is the buttons do require some force to press, so if they are digging or booping with their nose it doesn't always go off. They need to learn to fully step on it, which will take some time. I am hoping they will begin pressing it without prompting like they did for the potty doorbell. All in all really great set of communication buttons. Everything is well built and solid and nothing feels cheap.
