I specifically purchased this item because the specs said it was stainless steel. I have had items rust in my tool box so I thought this would be a good investment. Buyer beware! This is NOT stainless steel. It readily snaps to a magnet. Stainless is generally not considered magnetic. There are some cheap grades that are barely magnetic. But this tool snaps instantly to the magnet - and a weak magnet at that. So, if you're okay with that, then go for it, but they should not be false advertising.
