100% meets my requirements. Works great. And by the way the hole on the side is not big enough to pull out most of the keys even if you remove the rubber.

Mistress made me buy this for Her to safely store my cage keys. She loves how fast/easy it is for Her to increase my locked time as punishment for misbehaving.

I received the lockbox on time, but unfortunately it was already locked and set to open in 50 days.UPDATEI had to come back and update my (sort of) unfair review. I now believe that because of the muddled instructions provided, I accidentally set the lock for 50 days myself. I wrote customer support and received a much clearer guide to unlock it in this "emergency".The box is sturdy and really works well. After taking my daily allotment of smokes out, I set it to unlock the next day. This has enabled me to cut back from 30+ cigs a day to precisely 9.

I have been looking for a well made timed safe for quite awhile and this is the most well made one I have seen. It works just should and I like that you have the choice of charging it or using AA batteries. It is easy to set and the timer is accurate. It is the perfect size for prescription bottles and cell phones.

You can unlock it by paying $20 (they say the money is donated to a charity which is pretty cool, as long as it’s actually true). I’ve come to realize that this feature—the get out of jail (not) free card— sucks. I mean for one, it’s a scientific fact that willpower is a finite resource. It eventually runs out for everyone. I feel like this is definitely something this seller knows which is why they’ve used it to their advantage. Well, I guess to the charity’s advantage. Let’s think about it. They are marketing a metal lockbox because it is more difficult to break into than the generic plastic ones. So, they understand their audience is one that already has a tendency to lack self control and these buyers opt for the metal option because they don’t trust themselves to not break it, or do whatever it takes to open the box (breaking or prying open the plastic ones). Aka this is specifically marketed to people that are almost guaranteed to pay that $20 fee multiple times. But just to be sure, they make paying it very easy to do—by providing you with an actual get out of jail free card where you just need to scan a quick QR code and enter your credit card info. Even if they’re not forcing you to pay extra, they know that once those cravings intensify, you will very likely pay if you’re given an opportunity to do so. To make the opportunity just a little more tempting, they give you a free pass to unlock it early for the first time. After doing it once you are much more likely to come back and do it again in the future (also a proven fact). Last thing is that you will negotiate with yourself that, since the money is going to a good cause, it wouldn’t be the worst decision in the world to pay the $20. So you pay it. Is anyone else wondering if this money is actually being donated to a charity….? Anyways, if you’re planning on buying this because you struggle with with addiction and think it will help you build willpower, I advise you to think again. It’s a grantee that you’re gonna spend a extra money unlocking this thing before the time runs out. If you want to hold yourself accountable, get one that doesn’t have this feature. The Ksafe timer lock box would be a better option than this one. If you’re still set on buying this one, then an accountability partner would be helpful to prevent you from unlocking it early. Or another idea is to throw out the “get out of jail free card” before you get the chance to use it. I put quotations, but don’t let that fool you— it’s a literal business card. And while I’m at it, I also think the beeping noise is really loud and annoying when it counts down before locking or just when you’re pressing the buttons. The volume can’t be adjusted either. To be blunt, the solution to your problem is not a lock box—it is going to therapy so you can learn how to address/remove the triggers in your life and develop healthy coping mechanisms to avoid the behavior in the future.

My son uses it for 30 days at a time for his mobile ! Helps him focus on a levelsHe did glue gun the emergency hole button where you can access it but tbh such a get out defeats the object!! So he HAS to wait for it to open. How's that for commitment!!!.

Sturdy metal box for smart phone so that phone can’t be used while locked. Can be easily set for longer periods. Hole on side for recharging is handy. Very satisfied.

God bless the people who made this product. It is sturdy, well-made and has all the functions that you would expect and want from a high quality product. I think the devil wants to turn people into phone addicts and this tool is a Godsend to help combat that. Easy to use and set the timer - box even has padding inside to protect your items. I particularly like that it can be plugged into the wall, as I don’t like to waste batteries (I only plug it in during use) but be aware you need to supply your own usb wall plug. It beeps when the time is up, but I really appreciate that you can turn the beep off (hearing that sound can be a dopamine rush to the brain to start using your phone again). Overall fantastic product. I researched a lot before buying and this product is superior to all the others I found in this price range.

Bought this item because it was priced significantly cheaper than other options, and it even advertised itself as being metal while the others were plastic. However, when I received the item its construction seemed buy-it-for-life. It's rugged, the display is simple and works perfectly, providing you with all the critical information on the lock's operation.I used this to store THC when I was having a tough time quitting. Locking and unlocking of the box seems commercial grade. It alarms you before it locks incase you accidentally pressed it, and you are even able to increase (but not decrease) the time after locked. It even has a failsafe system incase the four AA batteries die while your lock is still in operation, you are able to connect it to external power.Compared to other options, this is definitely worth the $40. Now, just like with any other kitchen safe, if you try hard enough you're going to get in. It's not a bank safe, after all. Also, these will not work for iPads. These will work for small items, the kind that you fit in your pocket.
