i like having specific step up rings and opposed to having a set of rings that build a funnel onto you lenses. This step up rings to allows me to put my 82mm filters on my smaller 72mm lenses. It creates a much cleaner look and it eliminates any chances of corner vignetting. The ring is solid and does not feel flimsy at all. The threads are good and it mounts easily to my 72mm lenses and 82mm filters.
