Appears to be a nice quality product, heavy duty, but the advertised dimensions in both the photos of the product AND the description in the listing, advertised 3.3 x 1.06 x 0.79 inches/ 8.4 x 2.7 x 2 cm (length x width x height), but actual unit is ~ 7.5 x 2.0 x 2.0 cm. I needed a unit that had ~ 7cm between screw holes to replace an older doorbell w/existing screw holes in brick. I do not want to put more holes in my walls. Will be returning.

The metal material was heavy with a nice black finish unfortunately the screws that were provided were less than a quarter inch longer than the buttons depth. That might work on a wood siding application but my home is stone. Now I will have to go find longer black screws that are thin enough to go through the button and be anchored in the stone wall. Even using the screws provided in a wood siding would barely hold.

Inexpensive, perfect fit and super easy to change. We built our home in 1990 and still had the original plastic doorbell cover. After recently updating the 90s look including the door and fixtures this just completed the look. It truly is the little things.

Specifications say 1.060” wide. Actually .7945” wide. I needed to cover a previous 1” hole. Protective wrapping was in the totally smashed product box, the door bell was not in the box. No screws were included and I did check the package carefully. I could have purchased a very similar item (.75” and with screws) from Lows at the same price.

Summary:I like that this doorbell is made of metal and not some sort of plastic. A plus is that it came with black screws to match the black color of the doorbell. Note: it does NOT include wiring, you MUST use the 2 existing wires in your wall. Sharpie is used for size reference in pictures. I recommend this doorbell for those wanting to update or replace an existing doorbell.Pros:- Minimalistic packaging, but packaged well- Easy to install in a matter of minutesCons:- Even though installation is straight forward, it does not come with directions for those that have never installed a doorbellTIPS and TRICKS:- Make sure to turn off electric/power before installing.- It does not matter which wire you attach to each end, so don't worry about installing the wires backwards.- If your doorbell does not work once installed, check to make sure you have power coming to the wires and the transformer. Often times these wires run through the attic and the wires could have been cut or chewed. It is also possible that your transformer needs to be replaced. Most transformers are located on the ceiling in the garage or in an attic.

4 Stars – Sturdy and Stylish, but Button Needs ImprovementThis sturdy metal doorbell seamlessly replaced my defunct 1960s model. The thick circuit board allows the wire screws to be tightened securely and the well-designed metal body complements various home styles. The included black screws are of good quality and long enough for secure installation. However, the lighted white plastic center button has too much lateral play, making it easy to push sideways instead of activating the doorbell. If the button were more stable, this would be a five-star product.
