Very cute, but the magnet can’t hold the piece to the fridge. I have to put another magnet under it so it doesn’t slide down my fridge.

Bought it because I thought it was cool. I was right, it is cool. But the advertised magnet is not strong enough to hold itself up so no point in it being magnetic… there went my plans to stick it on the fridge.

This is what believe something that be kept in your car so as you go through your week you can notch what is needed so when you get to the store you have a good picture that would should get and then build on that if you are needing other items. I love the old aspect of having a single purpose list that you follow. There are items that you can easily cover up with a market and make it your own. No pet food, diapers needed.

When I saw this grocery list gadget, I knew I would love it. Not to use, but to add to my back- in- the- day throw back stuff. I still have an old timey rotary dial phone hanging in my kitchen. When young kids come over, they are always curious about it. That being said, I will hang this list in my kitchen or on the fridge for old time sakes. It's cute, it's functional and easily fit in a purse, if you will use it for groceries.I think it's an awesome gift for fun, laughs and memories. So, if you won't purchase because it's not the norm to use now-a-days, gift it to someone who remembers days gone by. They will love it as much as I do, I don't think the millennials will get it, but who knows.

Back in the day, people used to use these re-usable shopping lists regularly, and this modern reproduction of a somewhat archaic item is a lot of fun as a novelty reminder of days gone by.However, let's be completely honest: I'm almost never actually going to use this as my shopping list. I've never been one to confine my shopping to a mere 40 items, even if some of the items are broad enough categories to account for several ingredients. So I have to be completely frank and say that I do think the price is a bit steep for an item that has such limited uses. That said, you get exactly what you see when you order this. The toggles are easy to slide from side to side yet stiff enough that they won't slide accidentally and it comes with pre-drilled holes so you can easily hang it either on a nail or from a string in a convenient location.I'm perfectly happy with it because I have an affinity for things people used in history. But if you're looking for a re-usable shopping list with more functionality, you may want to consider a smartphone app instead.
