I wouldn't consider this for serious use. If you are looking for more aesthetic this would be great for you. The actual cork board is very thin with no sort of backing. After a couple pushpins somehow pushed a couple of holes i put a piece of cardboard in the back for support and it's definitely better. The frame is cute, adds style to the board. Not sure what the material is but it isn't too sturdy. For sure more a board that's more for looks.

I put this up originally and took it back down. It has been sitting around for a month or more just stocked away. I bought a printing camera and recently discovered the absolute necessity of pin/tack boards.I have been using this to put up photos and collage them together, and unfortunately I can’t post a picture of what it currently looks like, but it has became a new hobby of mine and I love it.One of the problems with this board is the depth for the tacks; luckily I owned a few screens which came with 100 tacks (each) which work perfectly with it.

Love how big this framed cork board is. Also it is nice and lightweight. Comes with hooks installed for nails on both sides so can hang vertical or horizontal.The only thing is the cork is thinner than expected. Was hoping for thicker cork, but it is thin. It is just about 1cm, or .4in thick. To pin items in will have to put the pin in sideways a little for them to be more secure. They are loose in pushed in straight. There is a protective layer/coating on the back so you can't punch through and thus won't damage your wall accidentally.Also the provided pins are pretty poor quality, almost a waste they even provided them.

I recently hung up the Mikasa Gold Framed Cork Board in my home office, and it's a stylish yet functional piece. The frame's gold finish adds a chic touch, and it matches wonderfully with my other office decor. It came with five tacks, which was convenient for pinning up my to-do lists and inspirational quotes right away. The size is perfect for my needs, not too large but big enough to hold several notes. However, I did notice that the cork is a bit thinner than I expected. It holds the tacks well, but I'm cautious about using it with heavier items. While I love the elegance it brings to my space, I do wish the cork was a bit more robust. It's great for light use and definitely a lovely decorative piece, but might not be the best choice if you're planning to pin heavier materials.

I knew this would be pretty when I ordered it, but I was surprised at just how pretty it actually is! The frame is a gorgeous gold, and looks very modern and sleek. I have a home office and needed something to go on the wall above my desk for small memos and reminders, but I couldn't seem to find something that looked stylish but useful at the same time. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. The size is absolutely perfect for my space and my needs. I can't wait to declutter my desk and keep all my references and reminders on the wall now!
