It was very easy to put together and take apart for easy storage in the bag as well. Havent been able to use it outside yet due to snow.

This is a great item for going to the beach the detector build quality is great ,easy to use it will pinpoint exactly where the metal is located, battery life is great good value for the money recommended

We’d purchased a metal detector before but we needed another. This has been a good add for what our boys can do when they are outside adventuring. It seems to function well and pick up a good amount of objects although most we’ve found are tin cans and barbed wire. Easy to use.

I have always wanted a metal detector. I finally bit the bullet, so I can add some additional excitement to our family outings. My son likes to adventure with me, so this is a great way to keep his attention and get him excited to go out. It will be great for summer days on the beach to pull out when the fish aren't biting. It breaks down to a good travel size and the assembly and set-up is simple. The materials all feel high-quality and I am so pleased it comes with it's own carrying case for easy packing! Looking forward to family fun!

I bought his as an introduction to Metal Detecting. I know absolutely nothing about any of it, and have only seen them used on TV. I figured the reviews and price point were pretty good for something I view as a mild new interest to potential hobby later on.It arrived in a medium sized box and was neatly packaged with several sections to assemble.It took me about 15ish minutes to set it up.I appreciated the easy instructions and little booklet, as I lose patience rather quickly when I get frustrated.This went nice and smooth.It feels well made and all the things that fit together and collapse seem really sturdy. Not worried about a small piece snapping off here and there.It came with a decent set of headphones and a pretty cool small collapsible shovel with serrated edges, compass, and its own carrier/pouch with a belt loop, so you’ll always be prepared if your ready to uncover or dig.The entire Detector is collapsible as well, and had a medium sized backpack type carrier for the entire device.I decided not to learn about sensitivity and distance just yet.I’m just getting comfortable adjusting the seeker up and down ,walking with it, and scanning techniques.It has an arm strap to secure it to you, and can adjust to longer and shorter.It did mildly hurt my arm after my first few trips, as there is a little weight to this product.Later I’ll progress into learning about how to approach a ‘hit’ what’s worth digging for, which area to start, how far down is it, and the possible different metals.On my first and second practice run I got MANY hits, most showed the low end of the Ferrous with the screws/ bolts little icon, and some hits were higher in the 70’s and 90’s.So I’m interested in seeing what I might find.One observation as I’m getting more familiar:I noticed it was hitting in the silver range over the brackets in my garden beds.I’m not sure what metal was used to adjoin the corners and it is a shiny silver color, but that makes me leery of digging in other areas with a similar or higher result( I doubt my garden brackets contain precious metals is my point)Regardless, I need to learn about what the ‘hits’ are indicating, what the sensitivities are , how to adjust them, and how to avoid digging up a tin can.It does not seem overly complicated, but my knowledge level is low.I will enjoy the journey, and am happy with my first ever Metal Detector purchase !

I am very much looking forward to putting this to good use. Living by the beach one of my favorite hobbies is to comb the sand for treasures. This unit is remarkably well make and 5 different modes and backlit display really make it worth the money. In addition to that the adjustable stem and headphone support was an added bonus my old unit didn't have. Over all I am in love with this, it easy to use, light, and came with a few added tools to help out on the hunt.

This metal detector has proven to be a reliable and high performing tool for my metal detecting adventures. A good beginner's machine. Accurate enough, reliable enough, easy to assemble and get started. Easy to use and we found a lot of interesting things. I like that it has a waterproof design, perfect for outdoor use.
