This was my first Metabo purchase. Great basic saw. Great price. It didn't come with rip fence, but I had extras. Can't beat it for the price.

Powerful enough for home projects and I'm sure for jobsite work. Do need to watch your work location because the dust shoot out the top works excellent but can make a mess if you have it aiming the wrong way. Highly recommend this product.

Ya había comprado con anterioridad ésta sierra, la usé por 4 meses y a un amigo le gustó mucho que terminó convenciéndome de vendérsela. Compré después una makita pero no me gustó era muy pesada, ruidosa, la zapata super sencilla y 50% más cara, asi que decidí devolverla. Compré después una craftsman de 15 amperios que me pareció sería muy buena pero oh decepción! Traia los manerales de plástico y la zapata se movía bastante no se mantenía quieta aunque los manerales estuvieran bien apretados, de lo demás creo estaba bien pero terminé devolviéndola. Mejor volví a comprar ésta super sierra METABO aunque es una sierra básica cumple su cometido y estoy contento con su desempeño para lo que requiero es muy potente y de fácil manejo. No duden en comprarla!! en mi experiencia la recomiendo!!

La compré en oferta y la verdad que vale la pena comprarla aún en su precio original es una excelente herramienta muy bien hecha y muy potente. La comparo con una ridgid y pesa casi la mitad y ofrece una muy buena calidad en sus acabados y los plásticos son resistentes.La base es de aleación y es una base más ancha que las otras lo cual ofrece una buena estabilidad para cualquier corte, lo primero que corte fue una cubierta de cocina y la corte con el disco que viene incluído y ni una astilla en el recubrimiento plástico.La recomiendo completamente y ya sea para principiantes o para experime tacos es una excelente herramie ya para el trabajo.

I bought this saw to replace a much older saw I inherited that died. I particularly like that, unlike others in its price range, this saw has minimal plastic parts, so I suspect it should hold up. It has plenty of power, and the included blade cuts cleanly. Safety wise; while it doesn't have a blade break, it has a metal blade guard, unlike many others in its price range. My only complaint is the bag; it does not stay open, and the pocket for housing extra blades is rather shallow. So far the most strenuous task I have used it for was finishing my basement.

Ordinarily, the blade you get when you buy a saw is usually not the best. But the one that came with this Metabo cuts extremely clean. The motor is quite powerful, so the blade doesn't bog down (I'm comparing it to my old Black & Decker from 30+ years ago) and is really quiet for a circular saw. The foot is cast aluminum with square bottom edges (as opposed to a bent steel plate with rounded edges, so it's easy to line up the cut accurately. My only complaint might be that the depth of cut is determined by pushing a lever, which loosens it up too easily, making dialing it in accurately a little difficult, but I'm sure i'll figure out a more accurate process with practice. All in all, a great machine at a great price point.
