I love this device, and I used it in the kitchen and around the house. It works really well it appears to be accurate when checked with other devices. The external probe is also handy for example to get the internal temperature on a steak.

I just started to make my own plastic baits… I ordered this infrared laser temperature gun. I think it worked very well!!!! The experts told me that it only gives surface temperature.. The experts said to use the probe that comes with it. In my opinion the probe absolutely failed to register the accurate temperature..

I use this as a kitchen thermometer up to 450f degrees. The batteries last a long time, the screen is easy to read, the measurements are accurate for my needs.

This tool has a probe that works as an instant read thermometer that I use when cooking meats so I can get the internal temperature. The infrared laser is great for checking the temp of soups and stews and is perfect for checking fry oil readiness. It is essential when tempering chocolate. If you plan to work with melted chocolate at all, you need this tool. It comes with two AAA batteries which is all it needs for power. Because of the high temperature range this can be used for more applications than just culinary as well.
