This item is comfortable and the color is also nice. The sleeve length is good, but it is a little short waisted. It is almost two inches shorter than other brands I have purchased.

This is a good base layer shirt. It is thin so I don’t know that I’d wear it on it’s on but good to layer over. Although it’s thin/sheer it is very warm. It is also a little itchy and doesn’t have as much stretch as I would’ve expected. It definitely came in handy and kept me warm being outside in 30-40 degree temps.

Merino wool has always been a European favorite. It's lightweight and warm. This shirt and comfortable and comfy with warmth that won't make you sweat. The fabric naturally wicks moisture away. I found the fit to be comfortable if on the tight side. Merino wool is never cheap, but this was a pretty good deal (~$55 at time of review.)

✅ I ordered the MERINNOVATION Merino Wool Base Layer for Women, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and quality. As someone with sensory sensitivities, I was concerned about potential itchiness, but this top was incredibly soft and non-irritating against my skin. 🌟➡️ Comfort and Sensory ExperienceMerino wool is known for its fine fibers, which are much thinner than traditional wool. This fineness allows the wool to bend more easily, reducing the stiffness that often causes itchiness. Additionally, merino wool fibers have a natural crimp, creating tiny air pockets that enhance insulation and breathability. These properties contribute to a comfortable wearing experience, even for those with heightened sensory sensitivities.➡️ Environmental Impact of Merino WoolWhile merino wool is a natural and renewable resource, its production can have environmental implications. Overgrazing by sheep, particularly in regions like Mongolia, has led to significant ecological issues. The Mongolian dust bowl phenomenon, characterized by severe sand and dust storms, has been exacerbated by overgrazing, resulting in land degradation and desertification. It’s important to note that not all merino wool production contributes to these issues. Sustainable farming practices, such as rotational grazing and maintaining appropriate flock sizes, can mitigate environmental impacts. Consumers should be aware of these factors when choosing wool products.➡️ Brand Sustainability EffortsMERINNOVATION emphasizes innovation in merino wool products, aiming to provide items that balance performance and sustainability. Their products are OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified, indicating that they are made with chemicals safer for human health and the environment. However, specific details about their wool sourcing and farming practices are not readily available. Transparency in sourcing and a commitment to sustainable farming practices are crucial for assessing a brand’s environmental impact. Consumers may consider reaching out to the company for more information or looking for brands that provide detailed insights into their sustainability efforts.➡️ Final RatingConsidering the exceptional comfort and quality of the MERINNOVATION Merino Wool Base Layer, I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. It had good value for money, no weird smells, and the fit was accurate (I ordered 2 sizes up so it would be more loose and comfy) ⭐⭐⭐⭐Pros: • Comfort: Soft, non-itchy material suitable for sensitive skin. • Design: Functional and stylish, ideal for various activities. • Chemical Safety: OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified, ensuring safer chemical use.Cons: • Lack of Transparency: Limited information on wool sourcing and farming practices. • Environmental Concerns: Unclear commitment to sustainable and ethical production methods. In conclusion, while the base layer offers excellent comfort and performance, greater transparency regarding the brand’s sustainability practices would enhance consumer confidence and contribute positively to environmental considerations.

I really like this shirt. I am on a merino wool kick and have bought several different kinds and styles and weights. This is a nice thin one. Not too warm is a really good base layer if it’s not too cold outside. I love wearing them to bed as pajamas because they are so soft and comfortable. Would highly recommend and fits true to size.
