I'm 5'5" and 135lb with a slim build, generally between sizes 4/6 or S/M, depending on the item and the brand. I got this underscrub layer in size small, and I'd say the sizing is spot on. Overall the fit is quite good, I just wish it was a tad looser on my arms (it's not too tight per se, I just prefer my sleeves with a looser fit). I probably could have gone up to a medium for a less fitted look, so I'd order your usual size, depending on your preferred fit. The sleeves are fairly long, so this shirt may not work as well for you if you have shorter arms.This underscrub shirt is pretty thick, so it'll be good for keeping warm on chilly days. It has a good stretch to it and seems like it should hold up for a long time!

I'm a big fan of the Ariat brand, I own a ton of clothes and shoes from them. So I really wanted to love this under-scrub but I don't. The fabric is nice and soft and it seems well made as Ariat always is. It runs big, I ordered an extra large like I always wear and this fits me like a double XL. I like my under-scrubs to fit tightly so I should have gone down at least one and maybe even two sizes in this. Sleeves are also too long for me. I wish the neck scooped just a hair more to go under v-neck scrubs nicer. I'm okay with the little x on the chest because it's covered by my scrub top but the Ariat logo insignia on the sleeve bugs me a little and it feels like it's going to start to peel off with multiple washings and then it's going to look cheap and messy when it does. The fabric also seems to collect lint and pet hair. I usually wear nylon under-scrub tops and I prefer those. But it is good quality made by Ariat.

I'm not a nurse and I know the Ariat Women's Soft Touch Underscrub Baselayer is kind of marketed towards them, but this can really be for anyone who want's a quality product. First of all, I'll have to keep in mind that this shouldn't be washed with softeners, as it can interfere with the technology put into the materials that help wick moisture, prevent sweat, stains as well as help keep you cool. If anything, it's built just like sports baselayers but has recycled polyester, rayon and an elastane blend. I washed as directed, it dried beautifully and was relatively wrinkle free. As soon as I put this on, I realized how much it was built for comfort. I'm 5ft tall, 120 lbs, and got a small, which fit just right with a little room to breathe. The fabric just lays nicely on the body, isn't super clingy and feels comfortable on the skin. The seams are sewn more flat so they lay flat against your body and you don't have lumpy bumps showing all over on your top layer. It's even tagless so you don't have that rubbing against the back of your neck. On top of that, it's long enough to tuck into your pants and doesn't roll up annoyingly for constant readjustment. I'm not too crazy about the logo on the arm, but ultimately, it serves as a baselayer for the cold winters we have here and it definitely helps keep me warm.

Overall an amazing undershirt that is comfortable and decent quality! It’s warm and the value for money is good! The fit is to size and it washes well! Highly recommend!

This Ariat Women's Soft Touch Underscrub Baselayer is very nice, washes well, and is heavier than the undershirts I regularly wear with my scrubs. This may serve me better in cooler months, but it is a very nice shirt.

As an undershirt I definitely rate this 5 stars. Fit is a bit snug, perfect for an undershirt. It is a little see through, but you wouldn't normally wear this just by itself. Despite the snugness, I say fit is true to size. Soft, comfortable and very well made.

I am usually ordering XL (5”6, 175lb) but this XL fits me quite large and the arm sleeves are a bit longer than I like. I wish the shirt would be tighter around my body. So I would tend to say “the size runs large” in my opinion!It feels quite nice though - not too “plastic-y” as some other shirts (this is not cotton).Only a very small label at the back of the neck, which is good for those with sensitive skin.I used this shirt for a good workout but didn’t feel soaked like with some other cotton shirts.It feels really nice, not specifically “soft” but on the softer side.There is a sticker (not a real print but pressed/stamped on) on the outside chest area that is reflective as well as the brand name on the outside sleeve is also reflective, making this shirt quite sporty looking!

I like the fit and the length of the sleeves. I ordered x-small. I was not able to fully pull the shirt on because of the seams. As I slid my arms into one sleeve, I felt a rough stratch go all the way up my arm. After removing the sleeve and turning the shirt inside out, I realized that it was the entire seam inside the shirt. Too rough against the skin.
