The fit is comfortable but the texture of the fabric isn't. I can't wear these as a base layer because they are so scratchy. I wore a thin silk base layer underneath these for camping in PNW and was very comfortable. If they do actually have any cotton content, I would be very surprised. If you're sensitive to clothing textures, these are probably not your best bet unless you wear another base layer beneath them like I did. Quality otherwise good. Can't speak to moisture wicking because of the need for additional base layer.

I purchase this set for better winter warmth as I know that wool keeps you warmer than cotton, silk or rayon and it did not disappoint!The wool is very fine and soft with no scratchiness, the size is generous and it does not create bulk under my winter clothes.Very nicely presented and the price was quite reasonable too!Would highly recommend!

I took this on a 12 day trip to through Europe in December and it was perfect. It’s thin but yet kept me warm and it washes good, and not bulky.

These base layers are silky soft and thin, but warm and cozy. I love how silky the fabric feels. I use these as pajamas as well as base layers in the winter as they stay in place while sleeping. Very comfortable, this is my second pair and I am still using these first pair. The navy color is lovely. Thanks for a great product!

I was hoping they would be thicker as I live in Alaska and it gets -40 so I will let you know how they work my old ones were thicker and I absolutely love them so we will see how these do

I don't usually take the time to rate products that I buy, but I thought I should with this pair of long underwear.I needed a new pair for hunting; lightweight, not "shiny", woolen and of course, warm. I gambled on these and I am glad I did! Right out of the bag, I was pleased. They are soft to the touch, lightweight and stretchy. No shiny material. I tried them on and my smile got bigger... true to size. Perfect length! No bunching up under my bibs. I am 5'6" and 120 lbs and these fit beautifully. The cuffs on the sleeves are great, not bulky.I have worn them in 30 degrees and been toasty, waiting to try them on a REAL New England morning, then I will give 5 stars!UPDATE: Got one of those 4 degree mornings...I wore a t-shirt and fleece pants over my long underwear. Then I just wore my bibs and jacket. Was warm and best of all, wasn't all "bulked up". Will definitely be purchasing more. 5 stars!!!
