About this item

  • Food grade bucket lid that’s FDA compliant for direct food contact, made with HDPE (high density polyethylene) construction. Recommended to clean before first use.
  • Compatible with Home Depot 5 gallon bucket and Lowe’s 5 gallon bucket, as well as almost all manufacturer buckets from 3.5 to 7 gallons.
  • 70 mil thickness, with just the right flexibility for perfect pliability when removing from buckets.
  • Easy open and easy seal. No special tool required to remove lid. Tight fit! On first use, the lid will require extra maneuvering and extra pressure to apply. This will ensure a snug fit.
  • Installation tip: when the lid is placed over the bucket, start with downward pressure on only one section of the lid. Once a small part of the lid is in place, work your way around the lid to complete the seal.

Solid performance from these lids - I've used them atop my 5 gallon home depot buckets to do cider/beer/wine brewing - good seal and no problems after a year of use. I drilled a hole and used a grommet to insert the air lock to off gas the ferments.

I use this to store my pets food. Dog, birds and cat. This lid makes a tight seal and is easy to take off. Like opening a potato chip can. Much easier than the lids that come with the five gallon cans. I bought a white one and like the different colors available. You can color code if the need arises. To place the lid on, just start on one side and work your way around pressing down for a snug fit. Worth the price.

This provides a perfect seal for a 5-gallon bucket. It's not super difficult to remove but does create a tight seal.

It’s a bucket lid, not really as rigid as I would have expected but does the job and is not a PITA to remove which is just what I needed, so the flexible nature worked for me. Dropped a star because it’s not 10 bucks worth of plastic when you can get a 5 gallon bucket for less coin.

These lids are a must have. Seals beautifully. Well worth the money. Good quality for my needs (live fish transport). Thickness provides flexibility but not flimsy. They work very well on buckets I purchased from another Amazon seller and on product buckets from Lowe's and Home Depot.
