I bought these boots for my grandson for Christmas. He wore them a little over a month and the metal started coming through along the side of the boots and at the heel, causing the insole pad to get a hole in it not to mention that they hurt his heel. Would not recommend

After wearing occasionally for only 2 months the zipper on one boot broke rendering them unusable. I contacted customer service and they immediately made it right. The new boots seem to be good so far.

Bought these in October to replace what was probably my 10th pair of 5.11's. I like the feel of the boot and how they fit. These are great station boots. I had an issue with the spike protector in the left boot. It separated from the boot and I could not use the boots. I contacted the seller and had a replacement pair sent within a week. Excellent customer service and product support. I recommend these for anyone in Fire/EMS or anyone looking for a good pair of boots. Thank you again.

Great pair of boots!! They are naturally pretty comfortable and well insulated but I put some extra insulation in them and they are amazing. I’ve used them on the daily for over 5 months now. Not just for work but even for casual outdoor wear as well. The fit is pretty spacious on the toes, they are very waterproof and quite durable in harsh/rough terrain. I’d say the overall value for money is well worth it.👍👍

My feet are always quite swollen and I have tried several different boots trying to find something that I could get my feet in. Finally this boot worked. I can get them on and off easily. I am very pleased. The boots are very comfortable and more flexible than I expected. Of course they are new, but they seem to be made of durable construction and I think they should hold up over time. I can wear these boots day to day without any problem. The zipper is much easier to operate than previous boots I've tried, and seems to be well made. The zipper makes it easy to open the boot shaft enough to get my feet in the boot even with the swollen ankles and extremely high instep. My personal preference would be to have a shorter shaft, but I am certainly pleased with how easy they are to get on and off, even with my limited mobility. Other than the tall shaft, this is a perfect product for me, and as I get used to the taller shaft, I can feel that it might prove to give better support to my ankles.

There are two things I really dislike about these boots. One is the low air holes which let in the desert sand with every step. The other is the zipper that doesn't go down far enough. So I have to completely untie and loosen all the laces every single time to get them on and off. You'll also need to trim the top of the zippers where they melt the fabric to keep them from unthreading. But I've been wearing them for 4 months 5 days a week 12 hours a day and they're going strong.

This is a perfect example of "You Get What You Paid For". I'm keeping the boot but only after spending additional money to make it workable. (1) Boot Laces are 70" and barely long enough to tie at the top. So additional $16.99 spent for 84" laces. (2) Very cheap foam insert. No support. So additional $21.73 for good quality insoles with arch support. So expect to spend close to $40.00 to make this boot a comfortable working boot. Now, should you still buy it? Here's what I see. As a military combat veteran, this boot is definitely not to specs. For the price you get a boot made of leather that is very thin and "plasticy". The sole has good traction. The side zipper is fragile and is something that you'll have to use gently. The tongue is thick and provides good padding from the laces. Observation: I've worn this boot now for a few days and there is no crease across the front of the boot like real leather would so jury is out. Maybe this is "bonded leather" or "pleather"?I'm keeping the boot for light work but I'll be shopping for brand name for a regular workboot.
