I bought this as a mask to wear under my helmet and I’ve had no issues with it riding on the East coast. It is breathable comfortable, just as stylish as Stretches well and the fabric quality seems pretty good because it keeps me warm all day long. You can’t go wrong with Carhartt products.

I wear this for fishing in the winter, it keeps the wind off my face, very warm and can wear a beanie overtop without difficulty, my glasses do fog up from my breath but it's not really that bad, would recommend for warmth

I can tell it will fit my outdoor needs as the weather gets colder. Fits nice and snug. Neck a little on the short side but it’s fine.

Received product was slightly different than pictured. Still performs great under a hard hat and dirt bike helmet for rainy or cold days.

The Carhartt Helmet Liner Mask is a dependable companion for cold weather, though it's worth noting it's a bit thinner than expected. Despite its thinner material, it manages to offer substantial warmth and comfort, making it suitable for various outdoor activities. However, I noticed that it tends to fog up glasses occasionally, which can be a minor inconvenience. Nevertheless, it effectively serves its purpose, fitting snugly under helmets or used as a standalone mask.

It works..but the neck warmer should be longer. as if you use it to cover your nose or mouth it doesnt cover your neck. look for another design as i regret getting this. But i still use it as i added scarf to cover myself up which i felt i shouldnt have needed.

When I first got this thing, I compared it to my neoprene facemask I use for biking. I didn’t think it would be very useful. It doesn’t break the wind very well. And it’s not thick and warm like a polar fleece. But, if you are at all active, it’s the perfect tool for the chill out of the air. I wear it in my unheated garage all the time. I wear it all night walks. I wear it when biking in the spring and fall. It fits under a hat. It fits under a bike helmet. My only beef is I wear it a lot so it gets sweaty a lot I have to wash it by hand. But that’s a small price to pay for a terrific tool.Update:October 2019- I ordered a second one of these. When this one came it was a totally different fabric. It was more of the neoprene that I had originally expected. It is much warmer than the first one I ordered. The fabric on the first one I ordered seems much cheaper than this more neoprene-like fabric. They both have their purposes, but for real winter protection I prefer the second one. And it seems much more like a Carhart product.
