Your cart is empty.The Mellotron M4000D Micro is the smallest version available of the M4000D Digital Mellotron, and includes many of the features of the full-size version. One hundred 24-bit uncompressed sounds are immediately accessible, sourced from original first-generation Mellotron and Chamberlain tape libraries. An octave selector switch provides access across the same range as the larger M4000Ds from Microâ€s two-octave keyboard. The semi-weighted keys and MIDI connections also allow the Mellotron Micro to be used as a high-quality controller in your studio or on the road. Additional controls include octave selector, volume, tone, normal/half-speed play and pitch adjustment.

I used to pay professional violinist cello players horn players for my recordings. But now I use This Mellotron and I can’t tell the difference. This is fabulous for the price of a guitar I get 100 instruments.

I love this thing. Used it on multiple recordings and remote live sessions since getting it a few months ago. A missing piece in my rig that offers simple and elegant musical solutions. With its sound, size and build quality I’m looking forward to taking it out on the road when touring opens up again.

This is a wonderful re-creation of the famous tape instrument. Around a hundred taped instrument sounds are digitally available and sound as good as an original Mellotron or Chamberlain. Two sounds can be played at once, adding to the versatility.

I bought this to use on our debut album Neutral Earth (give a listen on you tube). We use a micro and mini, which you’d be hard to tell the difference between on the album/cd. We also employ a M400. The biggest difference with the mini vs micro is the limit of a 2 octave range with the micro. Very happy with purchase!!!
