I didn't even have to remove the mattress on the futon to install this bunky board. It's then but strong because I can lay on it and it does what it explains it will do, it makes laying on the futon much more comfortable.

The board slats that our queen bed came with were a little bit sketchy so we wanted something more sturdy. This definitely is that but it does not cover the full size of the bottom of the bed. I mean does it work yes, but this may work better for a full bed. I do see now in the pictures and video this doesn’t cover the full length because it is supposed to be for a pull out bed that needs extra support near the rear of the bed. As long as you understand that then it does work. It is nice that it folds up and has a good protective layer on the outside to make it sturdy for years of use.

This product does block the couch bar. But very very hard board. Would be nice if it was padded and possibly thinner.Would not recommend for a RV couch. It takes a 8 inch foam topper to sleep on top of it. You can still feel the board with that but it is do able. Might be great if you used it for a pull out living room couch that has a mattress you can put on top of.

This is a must for any sofa bed. What a difference. I was thinking about replacing my 5 year old sofa bed. Not anymore. After installing this board. Sofa bed is better than new. Awesome. Thanks
