Excellent quality: easy to clean, sturdy, and it fits atop all my coffee cups. Highly recommend for anyone that orders pour-over. This will likely last my entire lifetime.

I am the only coffee drinker in my house so I have been drinking pour-over coffee for years! This makes my morning routine so simple and delivers the cleanest, freshest taste! I just make my cuppa joe, then rinse this thing off and it's ready for next time.

I have had a few brands of pour-over cups, but this one is the best. It is porcelain and heavy duty. The one hole in the center drains the coffee into your cup well without it spilling out the sides like the ones with three drain holes do. It also has the side openings so you can visually see how far your cup is filling without raising the pour-over cup over the receptacle.

My coffee experience really improved with a pour over. I’m happy with the quality of the materials.Having read other reviews, I want to say this:It doesn’t leak coffee on my counters. It fits most of my mugs. Really wide mugs fit, but don’t feel as secure. It is durable. No signs of cracking. Doesn’t feel like it would easily break. The Melita filters are slightly narrower than the pour over, but it works fine.I use 20g fine grind coffee to brew a strong 360ml coffee.

UPDATE: I officially DESPISE this filter cone. It just flooded my counter top and down onto the floor. Because the flanges on the bottom don't reach the edge of the base lip, the cone sits "cattywampus" on the vessel being used. This creates a slope that the liquid follows down to the "view holes" at the base of the cone slope. Liquid flow does the rest -- coffee runs off the edge of the flat base area and onto whatever surface the vessel is sitting on. AARGHHHHHH! ...and I'm past the return period :::sigh:::~~~There are a couple of design flaws, IMO. The holes at the bottom that are supposed to be view windows into the cup allow coffee to flood the counter. Contributing to this are the ridges that hold the dripper above the cup -- they don't extend to the edge, thus tipping the dripper and directly the flow of coffee out of the dratted holes. If it were possible, I'd give this a 0 rating.

I have mixed feelings. I wanted to use a ceramic cone instead of the plastic one I've been using. Unfortunately the ceramic wasn't as good a fit. I had the same issue as several others with stability. It just didn't fit properly over the 3 cups I've been using and toppled side to side. The bottom ridge ridge was too small for standard sized cup, too big for small cup, and overall unstable on a larger cup I use for brewing. The plastic Melitta one I've had for years has a wide base, without the ridge/ring underneath. That one fits perfectly over all of the cups I use.

I use this with Melita bamboo cone filters. Great little pour over, gets the job done. Easy to clean. Due to material, also can be brittle. One minor issue is the filter has to be at the sweet spot (you gotta figure that one out or adjust accordingly) or the brew will dribble down the side and may splash. Otherwise this is a decent 4 star MAYBE 4.5 stars on a good day.

I very seldom leave reviews, but I am really pleased with this item. I am finally getting truly delicious, enjoyable coffee in the morning. Many reviews complained that the filter cone is too large and too heavy. Yes, it is large. Yes, it is heavy. But these are insignificant factors compared to the effectiveness of the filter cone. After switching to plant-based creamers I discovered that they require a larger volume of creamer to achieve the desired taste and color (who knew color mattered?). But the larger volume of creamer alters the temperature of the coffee. I actually had given up coffee for a few years as a result. Lately, I have been trying to find an alternate brewing method. Most pour-over arrangements are slow (that's the point, after all) and result in a coffee that is not as hot. However, this porcelain filter cone is large enough that it takes a sufficient amount of water to allow for an adequate brew, while still dripping through quickly enough to result in a noticeably hotter cup of coffee. For me, it really is a perfect cup! I highly recommend this filter cone.

Really enjoy this product. Was using french press but find this much easier to clean. I get good flavour as well. There are a few drips, but no big deal.

I wanted to go back to paper filtered coffee after hearing about the health affects of non filtered coffee. This is a revised model with openings on the sides to see the level of coffee in the cup. It is good and bad but worth the trade off for my uses.Sometimes the coffee comes down the side and out of the opening. A little management of the filter position as required. I just keep an eye on the process and pull the filter sightly to change the direction of the flow. Still tweaking the filter position and have pour overs without the issue. Still prefer the idea of the openings to see the flow.If this doesn't seem great there is the older version with no openings. No viability though for the level in your cup!Easy to clean, easy to use on either a cup or French presses. I use with with my insulated French Press to make more than a single cup of coffee. I remove the plunger from the press and I have a great coffee carafe. I've also used this on a older leaf tea pot. Works great with larger cups too. I bought a second one more for the camper.

I like that I can see it drip to control the flow and I like that it isn't enclosed allowing for some steam to escape. The only item is that sometimes a few drops don't go down in the cup but along the side so I just have a plate under my coffee mug to catch any drips. Would buy again.
