Had a traxxas battery and left it plugged into my slash 4x4 over the winter and my ez peak charger couldn’t detect it. Bought and plugged the dead battery into this for 15 minutes and then connected it to the smart charger and charged it up fully.

I bought this charger 1 year ago but am finally giving it a review. It works great to charge my nitro rc cars that have molex connection . I don't understand why traxxas doesn't make one of these anymore all of them are "discontinued" but yet they still sell the revo/jato/tmaxx . I guess they want you to only be able to charge your RCs in your car..This charger works great though ! A little cheaply made but gets job done !

I was hopeful that these would be an inexpensive and effective charger. On the contrary, I believe it destroyed two of my batteries. Takes nearly a day to show the green light, but then the battery produces no power whatsoever. Went back to my original charger and cannot get the battery to recover. Probably destroyed now.
