Assemble the tray and scale body. (suitable for infants/pets)
1. Press ON/OFF to turn on the scale and press TARE before use. (peeled function)
2. Press the UNIT button to change the units including kg/oz/lb. (three units of measurement)
3. Weigh the baby/pet flat on the tray, the digital display will show the baby/pet weight you selected earlier.
4. Press the LOCK button to keep the weight on the screen.
5. Long press ON/OFF to turn the scale on/off. (easy to use)

Nice scale to add weighing ability in out veterinary clinic. Now, we can accurately weigh small pets and more confidently prescribe medications with accurate doses. Great value for the price.

The controls for this scale are either poorly made or confusing. There's no tactile feedback, sometimes pressing buttons doesn't do anything. Often after turning the scale on and selecting a unit, it shuts off before I can weigh my cat. Sometimes merely adding any weight shuts the screen off. The last time I used it, I banged it on the floor, and this caused it to start working correctly. I don't know if I got a bad unit or if they're all this bad. Hold button doesn't seem to do anything, either. Maybe it works and there's no indicator that the hold function is active? Either way, I don't recommend this to anyone.

Great for weighing my cat to track her weight. Accurate, easy to assemble, easy to use. Nice digital display and material. Only issue is that it tips when my cat walks on either end, which she doesn’t mind. I just have to put her in the middle to weigh her.

This is for my cat who has issues with weight gain. With recent weight loss, I wanted to get a scale. The scale looks sleek and modern and is very intuitive. I was able to use immediately as batteries included ( big plus ) and without reading the instructions. With regards to accuracy, the weight I got was the exact weight the vet had reported and is consistent with multiple attempts. Can't go wrong with this scale !

We have a sick cat needing weight monitoring when not at the veterinarian and this unit meets our needs at home quite well. We were a bit skeptical that a 220 pound maximum scale would weigh her accurately, but her 14 pound range is indeed accurately measured. The scale bed is sufficiently wide and long for her size and would probably meet the needs of a small dog as well. To stabilize her on the scale we place a small sleeping pillow in the scale and tare that before the weight measure. We ensure the scale is measuring accurately by weighing a known constant - two one-gallon jugs of water that weigh 17.2 pounds total. So far this scale is spot on.

I love this scale! I have had it for six months now. It has been perfect to track the monthly weight progression of my two new kittens who are now going on one year old. I also use it for the two older kitties to make sure one isn't losing more weight and his brother is not overeating and gaining weight!! When we go to the vet, I always plop them on this scale before going to see how accurate it is and it is right on the money...every time. Update 11/12/21: I still LOVE this scale after having it two years. I use it weekly for one of my senior cats who has kidney disease and losing weight and also weigh all the cats once a month to make sure they are on track. I weigh the cats prior to going to the vet for scale accuracy and only one time it was off by .1 of a pound. Every other time is has been exactly the same at the vet as this scale.

Don't know yet if it's accurate - must test it against something else, but the weight given is the same as in my vet's office a couple of weeks ago, which possibly means my cat hasn't lost any weight yet or it's just the scale. One cat is overweight and one is underweight. Bed section is a little long for them, of course. Seems to be good quality plastic and sturdy. Easy to use, and I like that it can be used as a regular adult scale. Fairly large and bright display.

The scale was surprisingly easy to put together. I got it because one of my cats seemed to be losing weight and I wanted to keep track. It works well for weighing a cat and the area for standing the cat on is quite large. I think it would work for a small dog also (or a baby or small child). You can take it apart easily (just 3 pieces) and store it on a shelf. Overall quite a nice scale at a reasonable price.
