The stool was easy to assemble..as long as you've done stuff like this before. It adjusts up and down with ease and it's very sturdy and looks nice. I'm very happy with it and the price.

Good : great look and quality stool. nice packed, easy installation, fully instruction .Suggestions: if there is a cover for the screw holes after installation it would be great thing.

Purchased to go with the one of the Meeden Easels. The stool adjusts for the height for whomever is using it. The stool is heavy duty and easily puts together. I did notice some tool marks and small dents on some of the wood parts. I did not take away a star because of those dents and marks because everything else on it was good.

I have a great easel needed a stool,Very adjustable height so I can be at the right level to see the project I’m working on.Easy to adjust very sturdy construction, doesn’t wobble, looks very nice with easel. Price comparison for what I received is worth it to me.

Es un muy buen producto. Si usas la altura máxima se puede a llegar a sentir un poquito inestable pero en realidad es muy seguro. Lo recomiendo mucho, ojalá hubiera uno de 4 patas 🫢

First semi-comfortable seat I could find for drafting, or for doing almost anything else from a sitting position, since it's flat, sturdy, and height-adjustable.The first one started wobbling after about a year of daily use. The wobbling began where the central metal rod had been fused to the circular metal plate as one piece.Fortunately--after I'd gotten another of these stools in the beech color and then read the enclosed Meeden product warranty--their customer service team responded to my e-mail within a few days. The agent was friendly and accommodating, offering a whole new stool when the replacement part I'd needed wasn't available. It came within a week of my confirming that I wanted it.The photos show the broken walnut stool being used as a coffee table and footrest (not sure if I'll end up keeping it for that or not), the newer beech stool, and the replacement walnut stool with the lifetime warranty.I wish there were also a version of this with height-adjustable armrests and a 90-degree, upright backrest. This minimal stool is useful for many things, though, and can fit into narrow spaces thanks to the tripod-style legs.

Easy to assemble, but because of the narrow width of the legs it will probably not support someone heavier. I’m 175 lbs , fit but feel it will break soon. The top of the chair scratched already from just assembling process.It looks really nice but the narrow base makes you at risk of tipping over.It’s really smaller than what you see in the pictureUPDATE:My employee weighing a measly 95 lbs just told me the stool broke. As the pictures show nothing is holding in the screw except a thin layer of laninated wood , it looks good on the picture but in actuality it’s a small cheap crappy piece of furniture that looks like it belongs in a playhouseDO NOT BUY

It's a great stool, and I like it, but unless they include plywood in the definition of solid wood, none of the horizontal surfaces, including the seat itself, are solid wood. They are all some sort of laminate of thin layers, i.e., plywood.But I like it, and the plywood will probably last longer anyway.
