Good quality, comes well packaged, look good, just too big and heavy. We prefer mason jars (went back to mason jars) instead of this. We kept it and use it just to keep things organized, more than its actual use. But it's a matter of preference. Some may like it for its intended use.

I wanted this for quite awhile but couldn't justify it. I mean, everyone has something around the house they can use to rinse their brushes and get clean water. But this is just SO nice to use. It has a wonderful heft so it doesn't slide around the desk and would take a great deal of effort to tip over. I'm so glad I finally splurged and bought it for myself. Just get it...you deserve it!!!

I have tried all sorts of containers. This waterpot with 2 wells is just perfect for my watercolor painting. It's not too heavy and it doesn't take up too much space on my work table.

I like that this container has two receptacle areas for water because I can use one side to rinse my brush and then the other side to wet my brush in clean water. I could use just a rinse water with other household items that hold water but I like that this one fits in the small area where I paint and it won't easily tip over. In fact, even my cat hasn't made it tip. I also have two Meeden ceramic palettes that are very simple. I like that these items are fairly small, nice looking, and very well made. They're also very easy to clean.

I have a small desk dedicated to paint and this well fits perfectly. It is stable and holds enough water to complete my paintings. I like it includes 2 wells as I often use one to wash my brush and the other to grab clean water.

Artists take note! A more organized painting area can be yours. This is a double ceramic water receptacle for watercolor or acrylic painting….clean side and dirty side. It will never tip over, it’s nice and heavy, cleans up great. Better than using an old coffee mug and as a bonus, you are less likely to mistake your paint water for your cup of coffee while painting! My husband thought this would make a nice nut server too by the way, one side for nuts, one side for shells. So I am keeping a close eye on it.

Very nicely made and finished, typical of Meeden quality. Good size for washing larger brushes, easy to handle, but it has some weight to it, not a bad thing though.

I bought this for water coloring, but have increasingly grown to use it daily also for rinsing my dip pens (I practice calligraphy daily) and also for cleaning brushes after using gesso or matte medium. I find myself having to clean and refill this daily now!I love that this paint brush wash bowl has two reservoirs, so I have one side for cleaning off my dirty brush, and the other side is reserved for washes (adding clean water to a page).I highly recommend this product!!

Well designed, very sturdy and good value. The divided design is great for ensuring that one water source is kept clean. The ceramic material and the rectangular base makes it very stable – you'd have to really try to knock this one over. And while you might want a bigger water pot for really large work, this is a good size for working up to A3 size.

Ottimo recipiente in ceramica per l'acqua. E' un monoblocco con due vaschette capienti, ed ognuna può contenere fino a due bicchieri di acqua. Molto utile averne sempre uno di acqua pulita a disposizione, oltre al fatto che va bene anche per pennelli grandi. Ho acquistato altri prodotti Meeden e fino ad ora mi sono sempre trovata molto bene. Consiglio l'acquisto.

Easy to clean. Two pots together so easy to move and solid so no accidental spills. Doent take up much room but holds plenty of water.

We are now returning the 2nd leaking!! (we had 3). Only one isn't leaking from the 3, despite a hairline crack is again visable. The design is lovely, the leaking makes 66% of the units sofar unusable, very pity. Waiting for a response from Amazon before ordering another replacement (could be transport issue?)
