Si tratta di un portapenne in legno. Quando si lavora nel campo del disegno artistico, la quantità di penne, matite, pennarelli o pennelli cresce a dismisura e quindi ecco che nasce l'esigenza di avere dei buoni portapenne, che permettano di scegliere velocemente la penna giusta. Questo curioso portapenne può aiutare a risolvere il problema.Il portapenne si presenta come un blocco monolitico in legno di faggio, con un peso di 515 grammi e una dimensione di 125 x 125 x 60 mm. Per intenderci, 125 x 125 mm è molto vicina alla larghezza tipica (120 x 120 mm) di un CD musicale.Sopra il blocco sono presenti 36 fori equidistanziati in 6 file e 6 colonne. Ciascun foro ha un diametro di 10 mm e una profondità di 52 mm, sufficiente per tenere ben esposte la maggior parte delle matite, penne e pennelli.Il blocco presenta delle buone finiture e nella parte inferiore sono presenti 4 gommini antiscivolo che garantiscono anche un buon appoggio e una buona stabilità sulle superfici.Complessivamente si tratta di un buon prodotto che può essere anche un oggetto da regalo che si abbina bene con gli arredi.

Works perfectly for almost all of my brushes. I use it to store my dry brushes when not in use. It fits my space well while holding more brushes than I currently own. I love MEEDEN products. Well made, great quality, esthetic.

I bought this pencil holder for my wife for Valentine's Day, as she has recently gotten very involved in pencil drawing. I wasn't sure if it would actually suit her needs, but she loves it. It exceeded what she thought she needed. And she loves the way the little wooden block looks on her desk.

I took a star off because both of mine have defects. I know these are made of real wood which will have small natural defects, but the nick definitely isn’t a natural defect and the other one is kind of ugly tbh. But regardless, from a practical point of view these are very good, I like having natural materials in my studio and the blocks are both weighty enough to avoid tipping while still being light enough to move with one hand. My long handled brushes do look absurdly long in the thing, I guess I’ll get used to it. It’s great for short handled brushes and I suspect colored pencil enthusiasts will really like it. My fine tip sharpie fits snugly, I’m not convinced anything girthier will fit, most alcohol markers will be a no go.

I have been very excited to try these brush holders. They hold a good amount of brushes or pencils. They do fit my mechanical pencils as well. They are beautifully made out of solid piece of wood and the finish does not have any odors. One of my holders had holes which were not finished very well and had some splintered wood as pictured on the photo. I still love them and decided not to deduct a star because of that. I love this modern minimalistic look and natural materials.

This is really nicely made, and is sturdy and solid. It's great as a brush holder, and holds most of my smaller sized brushes. It's also nice for holding pencils. I do wish the holes were larger though. First off, you'd be able to store a larger variety of brushes. But the main reason I wanted this was that I hoped it would be able to hold my oil pastels, but the holes aren't quite large enough for them. It's still lovely for brushes and pencils, though, so I'm still pretty pleased with it.

I love this product! I use it for me mechanical pencils usually where I study I always have it next to me, it helps hold everything in place! Will definitely use these for my art brushes as well.

TLDR: Super nicely made and great for all my frequently used tools!So happy with this, I use it to keep my most used art tools on my desk away from the clutter of the current project. Looks sleek and functions, can’t beat that.

Brushes stay put in an upright position Don't slide all over the place bristles won't get bent it's perfect for holding your brushes even if you're not traveling.
