They go on top of the cns very easily and they STAY there. Unlike the lids made of silicone.

These lids are okay, but they do not fit the dog food cans very well. Just have to be careful not to touch them and knock them off. Disappointed, but they were cheap. I'd have paid more to have better fits. MIGHT be okay for cat food lids idk. Very thin plastic and I would not buy them again.

These lids are slightly too big for the cans they are intended to fit. They fall off, and do not seal.
