The stand is very sturdy and fits the base of the Big Burkey perfectly. Because it hikes the Burkey up off the counter, there is small but usable counter underneath. Caveat--if you are going to set up your Burkey under an upper cabinet, this stand might make your unit too tall. Measure before purchasing.

If you've invested in a Berkey, then go all in and get this stand. It looks great, and you don't have to have the Berkey hanging over the edge of your counter. The stand is high enough for most glassware to fit under, so you have easy access to your water.It's pricey, but what the heck, it's an investment. And it will last for years.

Using for my British Berkefeld, it works great and is sturdy. It fits a good size glass under spigot. The rubber on feet keep it from sliding around and it seems like it will last a long time, been using for 5 months.

The Big Berkey water purification system works entirely by gravity. Gravity fills the purified water container, and gravity empties it via a spigot at the bottom of the reservoir of purified water. The problem is that, in order to fill a standard-sized drinking glass, the Big Berkey must either be placed at the edge of a shelf or countertop, or it must placed on a stand. This stainless steel stand neatly solves this problem. We were afraid that, once on the stand, the Berkey might be top heavy and unstable. However, this is definitely not the case. Our large drinking glasses can easily be filled with purified water, and the Berkey seems just as stable as it was when it was sitting directly on the countertop.

I bought this as my big berkey has been sitting on my worktop for about a year and was in the way, and difficult to move. So glad I finally invested in the stand! It’s a compact size so doesn’t take up too much worktop space, the berkey fits on there perfectly and very securely! It is so much better now I am not having the berkey tap dangling over the edge of my worktop. It can now sit further back, so it’s nice and out of the way. Glasses fit under it nicely.

This stand works really well with the filter I purchased. That's kind of a dumb statement considering it's by the same company and all. It's very sturdy, no wobbling or anything of the sort while in use. I will say I wish it was a tad bit taller, maybe an inch or so, so that more glasses could fit under the spigot. I have some oddly sized glasses so it's not quite right, I have to tilt them just a tad to get them under there. I've tried normal size 12oz glasses and they work just fine, so I think this is just a personal issue I will have to overcome. All in all I can see this stand lasting for a very long time given its sturdy construction.
