I am a retired RN who has used many portable IV poles in the hospital setting. I was in need of an IV pole to use for subcutaneous fluid for my cat. This is sturdy, well made, mostly metal, easy to assemble. Rolls well on hardwoods and tile. Does the job. Worth the slightly extra cost for durability and quality.

I'm a peritoneal dialysis patient and I need to use an IV pole three times a day to perform dialysis-fluid drains and fills. Despite my initial high hopes, this IV pole has proved unreliable for the task in the long term. The pole came out of the base far too easily (it wasn't secured into the base in any way) and after six months of use the pole's adjustable height-locking screw mechanism broke completely. This is NOT a medical-grade IV pole and I DO NOT recommend it for the use of peritoneal-dialysis patients.

This IV pole is very sturdy. I can walk around my house with ease, and having the 4 hooks help a lot with my infusions. Highly recommend.

Used one of these during a hospital stay, wheels constantly locked up both on the roll and the swivel and made it completely unusable, I just carried the thing whenever I had to move it, don't waste 100 bucks on this piece of junk just but a steel pole from a hardware store and stick it in an old desk chair base

Sturdy, well balanced and designed. Highly recommend this for anyone using for enteral products.

I bought this for my father's enteral feeding supplies after listening to him gripe about the cheap, flimsy stand provided by the local medical supply service. It more than met his exacting standards, and made him as happy as one can be when one has to be hooked up to a feeding tube for hours on end. Used in-home, this is super sturdy, rolls well on both carpet and hardwood flooring (and didn't scratch the flooring like other one). Assembly was quick and easy, just a couple pieces to click together. Delivery was projected to take about a week but it arrived in 2 days. Very reasonably priced for the quality.

Poles look to be of quality and the base is heavy.

We use this to hold the CPAP hoses up in the air while he is asleep to prevent his getting it tangled up in the bed. This is our second one since we decided to put a CPAP in the living room beside his recliner for the nights when he can not lay down in the bed. It works perfectly and the stand is heavy enough to prevent it from falling over and the rollers allow us to push it out of way when not in use.
