My wife's dog has some medical problems that requires us to provide him with IV fluid every day. We had been using an old beat-up IV pole and this one is a nice upgrade. The base is sturdy and the wheels roll freely both on hardwood and carpet. It telescopes up and down and comes with a plastic handle for moving it.The hooks on top that hold the IV bag work well. They are smaller and more compact than our old one but works nicely. We are very pleased with this IV pole.

This is a lightweight stand and pretty easy to put together. I did not put the handle on as it is unnecessary for me. I felt the unit was a little light when fully extended, but at 6ft or under it was OK. Being lightweight, you definitely don't get a solid feel, so I wouldn't put a lot of weight on it. But it is a decent value for the price.

This stand assembles easily with no additional tools needed (there is a basic wrench included with it which does the job). The hub is sturdy plastic and the legs already have the wheels attached, so it's a pretty simple matter to bolt the legs and pole into the base. The hooks rotate up out of the way if not needed and the head seems to be pretty sturdy. It's easy to roll and the height adjustment is easy to operate.

We use this pole for my son’s g tube feedings. We wanted something smaller and lighter than the pole that we got from the hospital.The pole is definitely good for home use. It’s smaller and lighter than most. And the base has a smaller footprint.Quality is decent - good enough for the price.The pole itself is hollow and thin metal, so it did dent a bit when we installed the clamp that holds the feeding pump. It still works fine though.Four stars. If it were a little sturdier I would have given it five stars.
