Works well: seems to be accurate and reasonably precise. Very useful for measuring wall temperatures in a variably insulated house. Instructions are oddly translated, but it is simple enough to figure out.

This device works fine.I had a bit of difficulty in understanding how to open the battery door: a YouTube video helped me figure it out. I still wish it was easier/more convenient/more intuitive to change the batteries, though.

The big thermometer is great for my griddle. The meat one I don’t care for it. It’s not the greatest. I didn’t buy this for the meat thermometer anyways.

Habe die Pistole hier gekauft und bin mehr als positv überrascht.Vor allem die Bedienung ist einfach.Weitere Details (die mir positiv Aufgefallen sind):Der Emissionswert lässt sich in 0,01er Stufen von 0,10 bis 1,00 Einstellen.Damit kann auch eine Edelstahlpfanne, Edelstahl 18-10 ( ~ E = 0,16 (bei hochglänzend) bis E = 0,70 (sandgestahlt, trüb) - einstellen und messen.Ebenso kann für Eis (Temperatur in Gefriertruhe) - der korrekte Wert für Wasser-Eis ( E = 0,98 ) Eingestellt werden. (finde ich super).Die Bedienung ist schnell und Einfach.man bekommt (auf Wunsch) dauerhaft den Emissionswert (z.B. E=0,67) - gleich unter dem Temperatur-Ergebnis mit angezeigt. (gefällt mir sehr).Das Display ist klar, farbig gut abgesetzt - und übersichtlich.Die Temperaturen wurden (bei E=0,95) (Gemessen an Wand, Tapete, Möbel) - auch recht treffend Angezeigt. (Raum Temp war laut Wetterstation 19,9°C - Pistole misst hier 20,8°C. Was finde ich die Temperatur gut wiedergibt. (Es wird eben keine falschen 24°C oder 17°C angezeigt, sondern einfach das, was der Raum auch an Temperatur hat,Gleich die erste Messung im Rachen (im Mund) ergab 37,0°C. Eine Zweite Messung 36,6°C. Passt auch.Wasser kocht laut der Pistole bei 94°C bis 98°C (mehre Messungen gemacht).Passt soweit auch.Bin sehr zufrieden.Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen. Das kann ich erst in 2-3 Jahren berichten, ob dann die Pistole immer noch einwandfrei funktioniert.Bis jetzt (die ersten Tagen) keine Fehler oder Aussetzer. Alles bestens.

This Temperature Gun comes with a User Manual, but it is a lousy User Manual. It appears to be written by a person or persons that are not familiar with the English language. The phrasing and statements made are quite often difficult to understand. There are no directions for when the Laser should be used. When and what is the D/S ratio used for? How does the Scan and Hold function work? There are other questions I have. Secondly, the manual is written in very small print, and is very difficult to read. Please use larger print. The unit works nicely but I am not sure I am getting an accurate reading because I am not sure I am using it properly.
