I tried to use for meatballs and sausage balls. Not very sturdy and too lightweight for meatballs. After scooping a couple of meatballs meat began to stick and I had to dig meatballs out.

What can I say, this product does it's job for a cheap price. There is a slight learning curve when making meatballs to ensure that it retains the circular shape when you open it back up. Coating the entire inside of this with a thin coating of olive oil is a must, and I find that opening the mold slowly to get the meatball out ensures that it keeps its' shape. If you don't use the oil coating and you open it quickly, the ball will pull apart or deform. Using these 2 tricks results in great results for me!

Easier just to use your hands- meat sticks to the inside and end up using your hands to fix the mess anyways
